The most unpretentious high end dining experience in the area. The venue is quaint with seating for about 20. Great choice of music playing softly in the background. I loved the husband/wife team approach. They seem to have the timing of everything really dialed in. They were both very pleasant and took turns serving the guests. The food was very good although the cheese plate with a huge slab of brioche bread was not my favorite course. My favorite dish was the morel with caviar. I also really enjoyed the carbonated pears. I recommend that you give it a shot. I will most likely dine there again.Parking: The parking lot is shared by the other businesses and can get pretty filled up.

Amazing food, served by friendly people in an environment that isn't pretentious. It's a course meal, no ordering. Get the wine pairing.

I've visited restaurants all over the US, in the UK and the EU during my adult life. I have experienced tasting menus at other establishments. I can honestly say that it wasn't the right time until NOW to visit this location. I simply wasn't ready. First of all, don't bring your damned kids. This is not a place for anyone under the age of 18, never mind under the age of 25. "Adults" under the age of 25 are as good as teenagers these days and simply can't appreciate the level of complexity that each course presents to the palette. If you were to rate this restaurant in gaming term, the food is on the Epic Level. It's not green, blue or even purple. It's a legacy location to visit for those who can appreciate it. If you're looking for a cheery experience where you chat with the server, check that expectation at the door. This place is run like a clock. The courses are presented to you. There is a description. They move on. If you have dietary restrictions, you will not be able to experience each course to its fullest. My dining partner has a seafood allergy and thus sometimes 50% of the ingredients weren't present in a dish. Something to keep in mind for those who have limitations. This is not a "cozy" restaurant. It's in a small shopping center. There aren't any booths. You sit at a chair at a table. Just like you would at home. The lighting isn't for a mood. It's to see everything. I just want other diners to have appropriate expectations. It's a great place, but not for beginners.

Vallejo's hidden gem! Michelin recommended and has been on my bucket list for several months and my husband treated me on my birthday to a nice dinner at Michael Warring. They only have one seating per evening and the restaurant seats approximately 30 people so be sure to make a reservation early. We sat up at the bar and had arguably the best seats in the house! We got to watch the husband and wife team put together each course which is such a fun experience. They run a prefix 7 course menu for $84 on Saturday and Sunday and 12 course menu for $124 on Thursday and Friday. They also have the option for wine paring which I thought was worth it. The menu changes with the season to provide the freshest ingredients and will be different each time you go. The night we went we thoroughly enjoyed each dish and the thoughtfulness behind composition, texture, and flavor.

Simply wow! Mike, Allie and crew did not disappoint. Our evening was an experience to remember. The setting is intimate. I found myself feeling as though it was just my wife and I experiencing a one on one with the kitchen. Obviously, the food did not leave us wanting either. Every course was a masterpiece in and of itself. I have attended several multi course meals and Michael Warring sets itself apart. I am left with an urge to experiment and explore more in my own kitchen hoping I might be able to recreate a pale comparison to what we experienced tonight. Michael Warring, thank you and we hope to dine with you again!
