Sushi rolls had a rubbery texture and the unagi was not grilled/undercooked. Sauces for tempura were watery and tempura was soft or mushy rather than crunchy. They tried to cover-up the sushi with their sauce to hide the poor quality. Not sure why people gave them such a high rating, but not everyone knows what to look for when buying quality sushi. Also, facilities need a makeover. Tables and floors were rundown and sticky. Outside still had signage from the car repair. We support small businesses, but they need to step up if you want to increase profits. 😬

This is an excellent family restaurant. Every time that I have dined there, I have left after having a great meal, wonderful service, and a nice, comfortable atmosphere. I would highly recommend this Japanese restaurant!

I had Salmon over rice Togo. When I pick up my food, I opened it but I didn’t see any vegetables in that. I asked him and he said that I should order the meal if I would like to get small salad too. (I ordered wrong tho) but he so nice:) he gave me the vegetable salad for free of charge. I will definitely come back. I like to support local and good people, plus their food is so yummy and fresh too.

I went there to try their sushi and it was great. they have a lot of options and I. Also tried the salt and pepper shrimp.... the second time i went, which was very good as well, especially with the tempura batter. I had to wait outside because there's not a lot of room inside but I will definitely be back. it will be great if they had an outside area to eat. But not a lot of room so waiting is definitely worth it.
