I got grits bacon and eggs. Waffles on the side. My waffle wasn't cooked. My grits were still hard filled with greasy butter. And I usually love butter but not today. My eggs as you can see in the pic, Burt!! Bacon hard and dry. Not worth it. Oh my stomach is bubbling!!

The burgers are indeed homestyle in all the right ways. The smothered chicken, the meat loaf, corn bread, greens & gravy are all better than your mom's. If you don't believe me, go get you a plate and try to prove me wrong. But the best thing about this place is the ladies running it. Real salt-of-the-earth type of people! The waffles and boneless chicken was cooked to perfection and that meal preceded the the philly cheese steak sandwich and garlic fries, which were seasoned very well with mushrooms, sweet and hot peppers. Absolutely fulfilling and tasty.If you ever in town in Vallejo I highly recommend you visit this restaurant, just make sure you arevthere before 3:30pm.
We stopped here on our way home from San Francisco. Found it on yelp. The women running this restaurant are so nice. Lots of cool posters and pictures on the walls. Great specials and lots to choose from the menu. My husband had the Philly Cheesesteak....said it was the best he's had in years. I had the fried chicken sandwich. The fries were cooked to perfection, hot and crispy! Great food. The desserts looked delicious too, just didn't have room for more. The prices were reasonable also. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

My man and I stumbled upon this place after walking around the saturday farmers market. As we walked in the ladies there welcomed us with warmest and kindest words and when i asked if they had a bathroom they let me use their employee bathroom even though they don't usually offer public restrooms. We had ordered a cheeseburger meal and when the lady noticed we were planning on splitting it, she had pre-cut in half for us. Before receiving our food, the lady offered us napkins and told us to "make yourselves at home :)". After finishing our delicious juicy burger and crispy fresh fries, they thanked us and we left with smiles on our faces! Will definitely be back!!!

Down home food, best service ever, for us, it's like stopping by a relatives house as your passing through town. I had the MLK burger with cheese, grilled onions and bacon. I'm still having dreams about it.

Nice ladies that work there, I always enjoy supporting a local business. But disappointed with all the Obama pictures in the place. They for sure fell for it, hook, line and sinker, as they say. But I do give them credit for the two pictures of Martin Luther King. Wondering why Clarence Thomas, Herschel walker, condeleeza Rice, Senator Tim Scott and others are not up???? Might not be back, I guess that's my right . Previously gave three stars, because when in open my sandwich packet, there was a hair. So for sure I won't be back
