I met a friend for a quick lunch here, since we had plans nearby. I didn’t know much about this area, so I searched on Google and chose this place because of the high reviews. However, the food was far below any reasonable standard. It was honestly the worst dining experience I’ve ever had.
The prices were extremely high, and I couldn’t understand how this place received such good reviews. The bread tasted old, had a greasy smell, and was so tough that it was impossible to cut or eat. The overall quality of the food was shockingly poor—something I wouldn’t eat even if someone paid me to.
It was truly a disappointing experience, and I left feeling like I completely wasted my money.

I really want to love this spot so would go again and try something different next time. First time visit and went for the Chicken n Waffles to check out all the hype. It was bland. No salt, no flavor. Just fried. One note. Meh. The atmosphere was groovy and the service was nice. The desserts were out of this world.

This place reminds me of a time in history where we as a collective was once together as a people. All kinds of people were there young,old,white black, Asian. Nestled in the heart of downtown vallejo esthetic is enjoyable to to the eye while you wait for your meal the bustling sounds of people talking and people serving was music to my ears. I enjoyed ever bit of it!! I even participated in the buying of some of their house made goodies. Vegan cookies, marinated red onions that are delicious and their cinnamon rolls omg. Just go and experience it for yourself you can thank me later😊

We love the breakfast and coffee. Churro waffle and chicken is spectacular.
Finally have a great little place for coffee, cocktails and breakfast. We had shrimp n grits, chiliquiles with chorizo (best I've had!) Homemade tortillas fried to perfection, not tortilla chips but actually the way it should be made. Bloody Mary was fresh and not a store bought mixer. We will be back!!!

After adhering to the established queuing system for fifteen minutes, a party that arrived subsequently was seated ahead of us via an alternative entrance.
When this discrepancy was brought to the attention of your staff, the response provided, 'Oh, I thought you had four,' was perceived as dismissive and failed to address the fundamental issue of equitable service. We heard her whisper to them go to the other door.
This incident demonstrated a clear disregard for the established order and the time invested by patrons.
Consequently, we chose to depart. This experience has left a significant negative impression, and I felt it necessary to communicate my serious dissatisfaction with the service provided."
