Food is authentic and delicious. I loved everything. I ordered a pupusa de zucchini and a tamal de pollo. The pupusa was perfect, fresh, hot and cheesy. Most definitely coming back.

Food was delicious and super authentic. I had the Plato típico with pupusas and plátanos. The horchata was also on point. Service was great, the woman behind the counter/in kitchen does it all! Super attentive and kind. Food took a little long but worth the wait! The dine in area is small and mixed with random things they sell, from shampoos to ES jerseys. Very mom and pop spot, feels a bit more set up for to go orders.

I tried calling to place an order on the phone, and the person who answered was very rude. Because it was my first time, I asked about the pupusa sizing, and they replied very vaguely and a “stupid question stupid answer” type of response and eventually hung up on me.I proceeded to call again twice and they continued to hang up on me. You’d think that with a recession going on, they’d want business but I guess not. Too bad, I was looking forward to this place as it was recommended to me.

My go to place for pupusas. I believe the only El Salvadorian restaurant in Vallejo. They have other Salvadorian dishes fried cassava, tamales etc but I mainly go for their pupusas. May be a bit too greasy for some but when you have a craving it hits the spot. This establishment is cash only, service is quick and friendly!

I knew I would love the food when I stepped in the building. We ordered ...1 Birria Papusa 2 Carne Asada Papusas2 Loca Papusas 2 Beef PasteliosFried yucca with chicharronEverything hit. Food was flavorful and delicious , woman making the food was kind. The fried yucca oh my god perfect. Being from the east coast many bodegas have hidden holes in the wall like this right here. We will be back for sure ! Great job ! Photos are after we dove in . Portions were great!

Thought I would try this place based on the reviews. So first it's cash only which can be a bit of an inconvenience if you're like me and typically don't keep cash on me. So a quick ATM run was necessary before heading that way. The location is not the best if you're familiar with the area( little sketchy/ busy main street) but not too bad. A hole in the wall but sometimes they are the ones with the best food. I ordered a plate with the 2 papusas( shrimp and jalapeño) and a separate vegan order. Super hot inside so waited outside for about 20 minutes and watched the liveliness of Vallejo which not surprising! The lady that took my order brought my food out to me and she was nice enough. Once home I cracked it open and the papusas were delicious only the beans tasted a little over cooked and cooked with meat grease. And I could barely taste anything shrimp in the papusas and definitely couldn't see them so I have to wonder!?!?

You won't find better pupusas on this side of the bridge anywhere else. Quality A+, flavor A+, staff A+.

My family has been coming here for more than 2 decades, three generations. It is the best pupusa. We moved to Vacaville and still make the trip to get our favorite pupusa. ?

As a Salvadorian myself I highly recommend this establishment!!!! I have even got my very particular pupusas connoisseur mom and grandma hooked on these! (That's a big thing) They're not greasy and they put the perfect amount of each ingredient. I hate when I go to a place and it's overwhelming with cheese and a speck of beans when I ordered queso y frijoles!! Whoever is back there making these bad boys has blessed hands, I promise you. These hole in the wall spots are where it's at!!!!They also carry a lot of bakery items which are equally delicious. Horchata is so good if you don't get there at a decent time it's sold out once it's gone! Disclaimer: if you're coming here looking for a fancy shmancy restaurant with 5 star service and complain about the smallest things just turn around! I've seen bad reviews about this place and it's hilarious. Where do you think you are?! Suck it up and come eat!
