This place has absolutely tanked. Quality went down greatly. I got a huge log of cinnamon in my rice and every scoop had a bay leaf. The meat in both the dishes we had was burnt and overcooked. They used to have a lovely light rice and now it's this heavy yellow fragrant rice with not a lot of taste to it. I loved their lamb but this was the worst lamb i had. They got a new cook and they changed up the food.

Im not sure what happened today, but the guy was not attentive with the order, the chicken quantity was skimped out and super dry (from pictures). Pretty disappointed.

We had a great meal from a food truck, Rumi Kabob. What an oasis in a gas station in Vallejo! We had the lamb plate, lamb gyro, and a combo of lamb and beef. All were good, especially the gyro, the servings were big, and the bonus hummus was great too. We have plenty of leftovers to eat tomorrow. We didn’t eat there, we brought our food home, so the atmosphere was somewhat irrelevant. It’s a food truck. We were so happy to find it!

The seasoning and flavor on all the food is one notch higher than most gyro places I've been to. Super friendly staff too. I said I never tried a dolma and he didn't hesitate to give me one for free just to try. I bought dolma, the lamb beef gyro plate and side of falafel and I'll buy it all again because it was so good. I inhaled it all before I realized it haha. These guys deserve your business!

Im sad to say that with the new gas station owners, they fired sedir and are using his business. He does not run that place anymore this place does not have a license or health rating anymore. This place is not safe to eat from. I am going to report them to the city.

Hands down one of the best authentic middle eastren food you will ever get in vallejo. I love their lamb shuwarma and would like to come back again and again. The chef is amazing and she really puts her hard work in the food which you can tell when you. You wsnt to come back again. I would highly recommend Rumi kabob their food is delicious and halal with great prices. Please try one time and you will definitely come back for more . Highly recommended for authentic Mediterranean food, which is very healthy and delicious .
