Never been so disappointed ☹️??????. were should I start 25 dollars for some food.. that had love in it..no seasoning..at all?☹️ oxtails were tough chewy.. just terrible..the rice is yellow with no time no coconut milk no scallions... what the hell ???? definitely not Jamaica Food...Mac and cheese... horrible as well..no seasoning....my girl friend is Jamaican and she was so disappointed.. please do better people work hard for there money.. and gas ain't cheap..???

So let’s start off with, I paid $100 for food that WAS NOT CARIBBEAN FOOD. The rice and beans were completely dry without flavor, the oxtails were baked with ZERO FLAVOR, tasted like nothing. Definitely WAS NOT WHAT WITTH WHAT I PAID. If I could give zero stars I would. The quality of the food was no more then $8

I was blessed to have my retirement party here at Ruthie's with 6 of my best friends that I have known since the savings and loan days to parking enforcement era.Ruthie is the best and what she does she has everyone at heart. My friends enjoyed her. She is the best!!!We got there when she opened at 2pm. We were the only ones there and I'm so glad because we got her undivided attention. The food as always was on point and the atmosphere was as always so beautiful and glamorous. We all enjoyed being there.Thank you again, Ms. Ruthie, thank you again. I had a craving for some oxtail, without doing all the work, was satisfied !!!!. The rice and beans was very delicious. I would visit again for the shrimp dish that my friends had.Parking: I was able to get parking on the side, with no problem

I just ordered on DoorDash the Oxtail entree which comes with 2 large pieces with Mac n cheese and red beans & rice for sides. It must've been my lucky day because they gave me 3 large pieces of oxtails! I felt like I hit the jackpot. Everything was delicious. Oxtails were tender. Good portions. Definitely worth the money because I have leftovers for lunch tmrw yay!

Ruthie is my favorite! She's super sweet, friendly, and clearly cares about the experience of her customers.The food is incredible. We liked the salmon, goat and oxtail best. The cabbage side (which wasn't technically on the menu?) was also fabulous.A cook was out when we visited, so it was a little slow, but that just meant we sampled everything on the table one by one as it came along.Will certainly be back!

Came in on a Wednesday night about 6:00 p.m. The restaurant was completely empty besides my sister and I who decided to have dinner here. We ordered two cakes slices for dessert to come out before our meal and they were frozen solid. Extremely hard to eat, pretty much bent the fork with me tried to stab into it. The service was good and the lady working was nice. I got my food to only find out that there was hair in it which I almost vomited. I got the j*** chicken and when it came out I was unpleasantly surprised that they were chicken wings on the small side. I don't know what happened in this place but it used to be good

Possibly the best food experience of my life! Ruthie was so friendly and had a great sense of humor from the minute we walked in. It felt like eating at an Auntie’s house. We shared everything with each other because we couldn’t keep the deliciousness of each dish to ourselves! The oxtails and j*** chicken wings were so tender and fell right off the bone. The j*** salmon was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The lamb and potatoes in the lamb roti just melted in my mouth. Ruthie brought fry bread on the house and extra portions of everything so we could share. I can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to go back!Dietary restrictions: Great with my nut allergy
