I ate a Sac's tasty dog yesterday and now I'm so sick(foot poison). I have eaten at Sac's for years never had this happen before. Things seem different since the new owners took over. I have been calling and no one is answering the phone.if I wasn't so sick I would go over and tell them in person. I wouldn't be eating there any time to soon.

This was me and my families first time at Sac's Tasty Hot Dogs in Vallejo, and I must say what a great old-fashioned neighborhood place to go eat with your family. The service was very welcoming, helpful, and fast. The prices of the food didn't break the bank, and it was one good hotdog. They have all kinds of cool decorations and things going on like kids get a FREE BOOK to take home! This will be a place we visit frequently!Kid-friendliness: Books for the kids!

You know the place is good when the line is out the door almost every time you go. Fast, friendly service and a cute vintage vibe. The hot dogs are so amazing, I get the cheese dog and a root beer float. So good!!! I don't live in Vallejo anymore but I always go here when I visit again.

From the second I walked in the door I was greeted with the best service and help. I had multiple orders and they were more than helpful with making sure each one was made just right and was labeled to make the process of handing them out super easy. The food was delicious and made fresh when I got in the door. I have nothing but good things to say about this establishment and I would definetly go back again!

This was so unexpected! I've been coming here for years. Brought my niece, who has type 1 diabetes, in for a hot dog only to find out that they have no nutritional information avaliable. Even the owner doesn't have the information. Such a community staple should care more for their customers. Service was great but the fact that the owner doesn't even have the information is disheartening ?

From the moment we walked in we realized this place is special. When you are greeted warmly with sincerity it stands out. Every employee seemed to want us to have the best experience ever. It seemed they knew the names of all of their customers. I appreciate when a business cares about community. When you go above and beyond it makes a noticeable difference. Caring about educating our next generation is how you get my repeat business. A father with a toddler came in and all the employees made sure that the child got a book. A free book. To take home. Dad read the book to her while they ate. I can't emphasize enough Sacs is doing things right. Now for my review of the food. All beef dog smothered in cheese. This is what my dreams are made of. Side bowl of chili. Cajun dog with cheese. Way too much food. I'm going to say this was the best hot dog experience I've ever had.

Where do I begin.... I paid $25 bucks for 2 hot dawgs chips & a drink, that's crazy in its self. The hot dawgs & chill are NOT same. The dawg seems as if it's under cooked, not to mention wayyy smaller than they use to be, the chili has absolutely NO flavor. I got a chili cheese dawg it was missing the onion & not a lot of cheese. The lady with the glasses was friendly, which was very welcoming. Unfortunately I won't return.

Ambiance is very 1950s hot dog culture. $6.55 for the most basic hot dog lovingly prepared with chopped or sliced onion, pickled relish, sliced tomato and mustard. If you want ketchup, just ask. The staff here are kind and attentive. The chili is just OK in my opinion, but I like their customer-focused attitude. That says a lot. I was greeted by all three of the staff working there. They all wore smiles and took their work seriously. I really felt appreciated as a customer. That is rare in this day and age. Please keep patronizing this fantastic joint.

This is a real treat in Vallejo. I ordered the tasty dog, chili cheese dog and a bowl of chili, and they were all good. The tasty dog is like a chicago dog and it had snap, however the relish is not the traditional bright green. The chili cheese was loaded with cheese and chili, topped with lots of diced onions. The bowl of chili is same without the hot dog and bread. Overall, great service and food!
