Overcooked fish with breaded to death shrimp. We called this order in over the phone ( mistake). We ordered 2lbs of sole fried with 2 lbs of jumbo shrimp also fried. I got the smaller shrimp heavily breaded. This was my favorite spot for seafood on Vallejo. Not sure how I feel now. Hopefully this was a oneoff experience.

When I go visit my boys, I stop by soultrans for just a little something to eat. I end up getting more than I came for. Staff is friendly and very helpful in explaining how the ordering works. Plus you can have it cooked there so all you have to do is plop down an dig in when you get to your destination. Granted it's hard no to get a bite while your in yhe car, because it smells so good 😋. Munch on!!😂😂

I ordered the fried shrimp, sole and hush puppies and all 3 were scrumptious and NOT TOO SALTY! Very flavorful and tender. Really outstanding...I was impressed...and coming from LA I'm hard to impress...I've had some GOOD fried fish!

I've heard of and always wanted to try Soultran Seafood in Vallejo, CA. This place exceeded expectations for sure! A seafood market where you can purchase seafood and pay a fee for them to then cook to order. They have a vast selection of meats and seafood to choose from. Multiple types of shrimp and fish. Crab, liver and gizzards, boudan, and frog legs among many other additional items. We picked a selection of items. Everything was great minus the frog legs and soft shell crab. In my opinion these were the only two items that weren't available on ice in front of us from what we ordered. We noticed when the items were being weighed that they both were frozen solid at the time they were being weighed. This in my opinion is why the texture and taste was off on these two items. The fried okra was good. The corn wasn't what I expected and I wouldn't order again. This place is a five out of five and I will be returning in the future.

I noticed a sign above me that read we charge 3$ per pound extra to fry your food. I did not review my receipt so double check yours. I understand the time and labor for the extra charge I know my 2 pieces of red snapper was over 1 lb but not my squid you have to purchase a half llbs for them to cook your food and 1 bass with an order of fries 27.00 It was a great experience for me. I would recommend
