Donuts are just ok. Really just come here for the bread. You could find better donuts in the Bay Area and I wish they would let you use your card for something under ten dollars. They also don’t sell milk which is a huge no for me and the rare chance I choose to have donuts. Donuts seemed to be expensive for what you’re actually getting.
This is one of my favorite bakeries in Vallejo. They have a wide array of mochi donuts, breads, and other pastries with many Filipino staple flavors like Ube and Pandan. The staff are really kind and helpful. The prices are great for the quality of the baked goods.
This was my first time trying Starbread after seeing it all over TikTok. I will say, the prices are great. I got two coconut malasadas and a small order of the Starbread rolls. I really liked the malasadas, they compare to the ones I had in Hawaii and were a perfect balance of filling and dough. I wasn’t a big fan of the Starbread rolls. Maybe I didn’t go in early enough so they weren’t fresh, but mine were sort of soggy and too sweet for my liking.
