Well, I had high hopes. I ordered the Jalisco nachos with shrimp extra cheese and guacamole. I'm a pescatarian and don't eat meat. Paid $20 to get soggy chips dirty shrimp. Upset is an under statement. All I could eat is the $3 guacamole and side chips. If I could post a picture I would.The people where amazing but my food was HORRIBLE I will never go back.I have spoken to someone and will come back and see how that goes. IF they fix it I Will delete and update my review. I'm all for that

I went in today after 10yrs. I brought my best friend who just moved to the area. He missed his local Mexican restaurant (he raves about that place!) So we go in and the ambiance was so beautiful! The are on the wall and the tables. Also the counter where you order. I ordered a quesadilla (same thing I used to always get) and it was even better than I remembered. My friend "approved" of the burrito. LoL I was like yea you finished that super fast buddy... but the best part we're the people working there. They made sure we were all set, good conversation and the just a great vibe. This is still a gem in Vallejo.

Last year I was frequenting Tacos Jalisco for lunch daily until they threatened to tow my car. I was working at a business adjacent to theirs and mistakenly parked in their employee parking. It wasn't marked very clearly, but it would be obvious what building the owner of my car would be in because it's a shared parking lot. The owner of Tacos Jalisco, on occasion came into the office I was working in and would speak to the owner of the business I was at so they had a good business relationship. He could have come in and said,"I think one of your employees is parked in one of our spaces." Instead, they actually opened my car door and put a note inside accusing me of parking there for a week(not true) and threatened to have me towed. There are no other businesses in this complex so it would be easy to figure out that it was the neighboring business. Needless to say I stopped eating lunch there. This could have been done in a much friendlier way. What's up with the threats?
My son loves to order the quesabirria tacos. I get the regular tacos or quesadilla. We're never disappointed. Flavorful and great service. Staff is friendly. The place is clean.

I hate giving a 1 star review, since this restaurant has been one of my favorite spots for a long time. However, I made an online order for 30 tacos platter for 6:30pm on a Friday since I had a party planned. I arrived at 6;35pm to pick up my order, and when I got to the counter, they said they are working on my order. I thought this was going to be a 5-10 minute wait, but I waited and waited and waited for my order. I checked in again at 7:15pm since it was taking longer than expected, and when I did, they didn't even have my order started! They said no one saw the online order and didn't start the process. They took my order down again, and told me I can only choose one type of beans! The online has two types! Get your act straight... they said only one type of bean allowed and in the end didn't consider it. No apologies, no we'll get it done now, no here's a token of appreciation for our mistake. NOTHING! Customer service was HORRIBLE!

I was a regular there at lunchtime last year working in a business adjacent to theirs. I accidentally parked in their employee parking spot for a few days(not clearly marked). Tacos Jalisco owner occasionally came into the business I was working at and was in good terms with the owner. It would have been obvious it was someone from this business parking there because there is no other business es that share a parking lot with Tacos Jalisco. Rather than come in the adjacent business and say,"Hey, I think one of your employees is parking in one of our spots.", they chose to actually open my car door and put a nasty note inside accusing me of parking there for a week(not true) and threatened to have me towed. Needless to say, I stopped eating lunch there. This was unnecessary, especially since no one was parking back there and it's not easy to see that that is their employee space. Why so nasty Tacos Jalisco?

Friendly staff at this restaurant. We stopped in on our way from Sacramento to Sonoma for lunch on a weekday.You order at the counter and they will give you your own basket of tortillas chips. You find your own table. They will bring your food out to you and their food comes out fast.It gets a little busy at lunch time but the line went fast. Prices were affordable. I ordered the chicken taquitos and they were kind of plain.
