They closed at seven when they said it closes at nine

NOT the old Tapioca Express. Every drink has artificial sweeteners, without being labeled. Drinks were otherwise decent, but dishonest labeling is, well, dishonest. Thanks for the sucralose headache and terrible aftertaste.

To any manager or owner seeing this - please promote Tracy (hope I spelled correct) ASAP. I ordered via DoorDash for delivery. I have really severe lactose intolerance so I mentioned that I want the milk to be subbed with almond milk or soy milk. Tracy immediately called to ask about my allergy and talked me through the process of how the milk tea is made and suggested other options. She then spoke with her manager and called again to suggest the Jasmine or Earl Grey milk teas as they use a powdered non-dairy creamer versus the half&half. That's pretty much the BEST customer service anyone can expect out of a business, especially when the health of your body and stomach is involved. When I have dairy, I end up in severe pain and in the bathroom for a couple of days. So the fact that this business had a stellar employee like Tracy to call me (TWICE) and make sure everything was okay (even suggesting other drinks if I was uncomfortable with trying the milk tea) is amazing. A++++ service. I hope Tracy becomes a manager so she can train other employees too because I've only had positive experience thus far. Can't wait to try my drinks! Thank you again Tracy. You rock!

Amazing customer service but what is important to me is the drinks. The Taro and Honeydew milk teas are delicious. Best I've had in a long time!

I used to love this place when it was at the old location. I don't know what's happened but for the past 3 years I've come (i go when I'm in town. Usually twice a year since I'm military), they don't have anything that I want. It's happened 4 times where I would order and their response would he "oh, we don't have it". This doesn't include multiple times I've gone and they were not open even though their store hours said they were. Better off going to another boba shop. Also, I find it hilarious someone posted a picture of the lazy a** girl that works there.

I walked up to order at like 6:35 pm on a Monday and no one said jack to me, even though the cashier looked up at me then continued doing stuff on the register, then 5 minutes later one of the girls were like “oh we’re actually closed.” And I was like “oh, just so you know your Google page says 9pm” and then she straight ignored me?? Not a single sign showing changed hours or anything either? Idc if you’re closed but don’t be rude about it.

Picked up some pastries somewhere nearby and the heat made me think about Boba.. I am a Milk Tea Boba fan and a very picky drinker too... Nearby found this inside a grocery store and ordered flavor I normally order from different boba stations.. Caramel boba milk tea.. Service was quick but i can't say the same with its flavor.. 1. Straw can't go through the plastic cover to a point my straw tip dented 2. Plastic cover ripped easily 3. The taste was more half and half and i barely taste or not at all taste caramel in there... 4. Boba pearls were limited As i said i didn't want to be mean but as a boba milk tea customer for years, I can identify caramel taste and appreciate it even with close eyes.. But this one was so far the worst of all i didn't even finish it... Dull, bland and more water than creamy look... If you've read and seen some of my caramel milk tea I posted , the look is very far from this one... And my companion also ordered Mango but we know how mango look like but the milk tea came out as chocolate color.. Will scratch this business from our list of to-go places.. Apologies but maybe my taste buds is really high and it is hard to please me...

Tapioca Express was one of the first main boba spots to open up in Vallejo over a decade ago. It was the place to get boba, popcorn chicken, catch up with friends from different high schools, advertise things, etc but now they moved out of their spot into Seafood City's main area. Then more boba spots started opening up in Vallejo, so there's lots of competition in addition to the neighboring franchises and Pho spots that also sell boba drinks. So I would say TapEx was one of the original boba spots for people in Vallejo. My brother recently ordered and I don't know why he was saying he had a difficult time placing an order, the worker said there wasn't much boba left for a Sunday night but we were able to get our boba fix for a regular milk tea with boba, lychee green tea with boba, and taro milk tea.

You don't have many choices in Vallejo for boba. You kinda just settle for what we have in town. It's located in seafood city with the other food markets. I usually get a Mocha Snow or milk tea but I though to do the Oreo snow. I do think the Oreo snow tastes better here than at share tea because at share tea it's very chalky like. This particular time my snow bubble was very ice and could have been blended a little longer. The tapioca was cooked well and chewy. I prefer it to be a little softer, but that is a preference. I wouldn't come here unless I went to seafood city just because the parking lot is chaotic. I understand the convenience of quickly and share tea has an edge.
