So tried them out . BEST MEXICAN FOOD AROUND. There chips are made in house,there nachos have real ooey gooey cheese not that can nacho cheese though that is an option if u want. Don't know why u would. There fish was perfectly seasoned and also cooked beautifully. Which was a little surprising since the 1st time was a delivery order. Everywhere I've gone there chorizo was super greasy,there's was not.
I've seen a lot of restaurants over the 30 years I've been here go into the spot there in im hoping they will be there for years to come.

We moved in here in October 2023, and we were so happy to see Taqueria La Estrella right around the corner from us. We were close to their Richmond location when we moved. We have been ordering their Chorizo breakfast burrito almost every week since then.

We ordered another one this past Saturday, as we have always done, but they forgot to add the chorizo. After I had started eating, I noticed they had forgotten and went to take it back. The owner told me it was half a burrito and that she would not return it. I told her I kept eating because I hoped to find the chorizo! I have been a long-time customer, and she would not fix the issue. I asked her if she was willing to lose me as a long-time customer and not fix my burrito, and she said Yes?! I am sad we will not return to the Vallejo or to the Richmond location either. Hopefully, they will work on their customer service in the meantime.

I came here, not expecting a lot. I’m glad I came. The food was warming to heart, It was giving a home-cooked meal hot straight from the kitchen. I had a steak burrito half chicken half steak with chips. Everything was fresh and the workers are kind I truly enjoyed it.

I have ordered three times from this establishment. Twice to go orders and once to dine in. On all three occasions I have had a lovely experience. The staff is friendly, y muy amable. La comida está muy deliciosa and you can tell it’s made fresh! The time I dined in the staff was welcoming and the restaurant was kept clean. My favorite plate are the quesabirrias, they are meaty and cheesy! The consomé is delicious, and flavorful not greasy.

This place is fire! The birria tacos are bomb. I would recommend eating them there for the full experience. If you take them home eat them first so they don’t get soggy.
