I was craving crispy tacos the other day and I thought I'd try La Estrella. I got the food home and I was a little underwhelmed because the taco shells looked so uniformed and pre-made I didn't expect much. I've similar looking tacos from other restaurants that were not very good.After the first bite I knew I was wrong. They were light, crispy, and crunchy and the al pastor was amazing! The tacos held up bite after bite and didn't fall apart. It was exactly what I wanted and the side of beans were so good. I plan on getting lunch here later today.

One of the cleanest and friendliest taquerias in the area. The veggies taste fresh and the variety of meats have stand out flavors.The young lady cashier is almost always taking your order and she always has HUGE smile with excellent service. And if she's not there it's her brother or someone else who is equally as nice.The drive thru makes it ultra convenient if prefer to stay in your car too.Now their burritos may not be the biggest, but they are by far the tastiest!In the past year of me relocating to Vallejo I frequent this taqueria the most.This spot deserves 5 starts!Parking: Plenty of parking with a drive thru option

First time here just discovered. Atmosphere was nice, staff very friendly and food was good ?? ? Had carne asada burrito w/chips n salsa. Pretty tasty, loved the Rojas salsa, nice & spicy. I will def go back again!
3 Stars for trying. I decided to give this place a try instead of Taco Bell. I pulled up, no line, and a drive thru. Easy. Though the lady was super nice, I thought the $7 bean and cheese burrito was a little steep. Not to mention it had rice and it was cold. To the point the cheese wasn't even melted. I also got the taco salad with steak and asked for refried beans instead of whole. No beans. Steak was cold and there was way more rice than lettuce which should be a crime. Did I mention the salsa they put on was spicy? My mouth is still tingling from the heat. Needless to say I won't be back. I'll stick to my dinky bean and cheese burritos with onion and red sauce from Taco Bell.

The food was very good. We had chicken nachos and a wet lengua burrito. My son loved the nachos, he said the chicken and pico de Gallo was really good. I had the wet lengua burrito, I have no complaints. The food and service were all fantastic. We will definitely be returning!
