I gave 1star because the woman we worked with to place a cake order for my daughter's 18th birthday celebration was so nice and friendly. Otherwise, we were really disappointed in the appearance of the cake and the time it had arrived. The decorations on the cake were nothing like we had requested. We also wanted to add some fresh flowers to the cake ourselves, and we expected the cake to arrive at 4pm, giving us enough time to do so before the party. It didn't arrive until about 6pm, when the party was just about to start and guests had already started arriving. We had to rush and couldn't put as much time into adding extra flowers as we wanted had it come on time. I definitely don't feel the cake we received and the time we received it was worth the amount we paid for it.

Tony’s did a excellent job in providing sweet treats for my grandson’s christening. We had more than enough and the guest was wowed by the freshness and assortments. We will definitely recommend Tony’s for your sweet tooth delights. Timely, professional, fresh, delicious, a most go to! BiG

I initially requested a super simple cake. Meaning I was just expecting colored frosting to match my party's theme, and only cared about how the cake tasted. I've never been a fan of over the top cakes simply for the fact that I don't like the taste of fondant. Anyways I put in my request and received a call back right away with suggestions to keel my cake simple as I prefer but also nicer looking! And I was soooo in love when I went to pick it up. They even found cute little Mickey Mouse sprinkles. I was definitely so happy with the outcome and the red velvet was delicious. I will definitely be returning for any future cake needs.

Beautiful wedding cake with cool isomalt shards to look like stained glass. Tasted amazing too! The staff were nice. Loved that the cake tasting for the wedding cake was free. Definitely recommend!

I placed an order for a birthday cake and cake pops, specifically requesting chocolate flavor for the cake pops, which I emphasized to the baker not once but twice. Despite my efforts to communicate my preference, my order arrived with the wrong flavor.What makes this situation even more frustrating is that I reached out to the designer on the day of the event, but I have yet to receive any response. It was my child's birthday, and they have a strong affinity for chocolate cake pops. The disappointment in their face when we discovered the error was disheartening.While I understand that mistakes can happen, especially in a busy bakery, I had taken extra precautions to ensure the correct flavor by communicating it twice. The lack of response to my follow-up message only adds to the frustration. I believe that responsive customer service is a vital aspect of any business, and it was sorely lacking in this case.I hope Tony's Cake takes this feedback seriously and implements measures to prevent such errors in the future. As a customer, I value clear communication and accuracy in orders, especially for special occasions. I hope to see an improvement in both the product and customer service to maintain the trust and satisfaction of customers like myself.

ordered a few desserts for my grandmas 81st birthday and it was amazing ! from the sweetness of the desserts and the presentation was so beautiful . everyone loved all of the desserts . I even got cupcakes but didn't get to get a picture of them. thanks so much tony cakes for helping make my grandmas birthday just a little bit more special

I like the communication with this company. Their follow up, keeping you updated with the order status, and making sure they have your order correct is bar non. The cake, sadly, was not great. I would place it on the same level as Safeway. I will say that the cake itself is about 3.5 stars but the buttercream was way too sweet and not a good texture. Plus the proportion of buttercream to the cake was way off. The buttercream in between the cake layers was almost 1” thick. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt but I just can’t.

I was surprised to find that Tony's Cakes was a short drive away from our house. It was my husband's birthday and I wanted to get him a cake. My Auntie who has been ordering from Tony's cakes has been bringing in treats from this place for family gatherings and I figured I get a cake for my husband from here since everything she has brought for the family has been pretty delicious!I ordered the cake by phone. It was a tres leches cake with whipped cream and strawberries. The lady who helped me on the phone was very nice. They get all the info from you through the phone and you make a deposit, then they send you a confirmation about the order. The cake itself was delicious and not too sweet! The shop is located on a busy street so make sure you drive by slow when it's coming up on your GPS! The inside of the store is super cute and they have candles too if you're like me who forgot to get candles, lol! All the workers were very friendly, they have cake examples available for you to check out. Their online website is also very helpful! Quite a lovely bakery, I'm glad they're nearby in town!

I Just to order my cakes here, but I’m so disappointed with the service because I ordered a cake for my son's birthday for the 4th of July before I paid they confirm me that we they will be open so they accepted my order and told me to pick it up at 11:00 am. On July 4th, I arrived at the place at the indicated time and it was completely closed. My son's party started at 12:00. I drove from San Rafael to Vallejo and they didn’t calling me and let me know they will be close
