I Drive from Hercules across the bridge just to get Turón delish, a must try always a great desert to bring to holiday parties, Super Bowl or just to bring to family or friends everyone will enjoy! People there are always welcoming and great customer service. Just make sure to place your order ahead of time during holidays

Very inattentive staff. Female cashier was on the phone while checking us out. She gave me the total. I handed her a $20 bill and she put it in her drawer. I waited for her to give me my change and she said she was waiting for me to pay. I told her I just handed you $20. She said no you didn't. After a few minutes of back and forth, person behind me in line spoke up and confirmed that I indeed gave her a $20 bill. She looked embarrassed and gave me my change. Did not even apologize. I thanked the person behind me for being patient during this whole time and for speaking up. Very rude customer service. Would not come back again.

The lady at the counter didn't know how to operate the credit/debit machine. She insisted that it was set up for debit only. Easy fix, press the green button on the machine to bypass debit and go straight to a credit payment.Done. Overall great experience. Great food and friendly atmosphere.

At 10:00 a.m. Friday October 27th 2023 I encountered a racist. My client and i walked in the bakery as I told my client this bakery is very delicious and we wanted to ask for some egg rolls. We were happy to stop by there. Well I walk in she was helping a person so we waited. When she was done with that person she just proceeded to walk to the kitchen area came out put her hair in a ponytail with bare hands then proceeded to package someone's food as she turned her back on me and by client never said one word smile or nothing to that extent. As then another customer walked in to the store she turned around and acknowledged them quickly. While me and my client were still standing there not being acknowledged at all from her for at least 2 minutes before that person came in. I let her know that was very rude and unprofessional of her she should handle her customers each as they come in not as she pleased due to their skin color that was so embarrassing for me saying how good this place was to my client but I took him to someone racist and she should not work in customer service she is a rude hair touching with no gloves on racist.

I love their baked stuffed pandesal with corned beef, tuna etc. it's a great snack or breakfast go to. Just toast it and it's perfect. I also love their karaoka on a stick, turn with langka, mana blanca (seasonal) and their tamales (found in the display fridge). Customer service is always so pleasant.

What happened to the Pan de Bonete, size has shrunk!!! . Looks like a baby muffin now. I understand prize has gone up but to change size is an insult to injury.

Located in the seafood city parking lot between chow king and Jollibee. There is plenty of parking. Once inside you are overwhelmed with the amount of bread, pastries and dessert options around you. At first, I was the only one there and then more people started to arrive. It wasn't loud in there although I didn't notice much of the ambiance because I was looking at which items they had. They have shelves of goodies, a refrigerator in the back and a display case in front. I arrived knowing what I needed to get buy but of course I was distracted by other items. In this visit, I purchased mini chicken empanadas. They have a 10 piece and a 5 piece option. I chose the 10 piece. My mom also asked for the guava cream cheese bites (this also comes in blueberry and plain) this is mini sized and come in 8 I think. They also have large ones in the front display case. I picked up the taro ube bread (I couldn't resist, I love both!) It is 6 pieces of bread with taro inside. I did not have to wait in line long, it went pretty fast. The chicken empanadas are always moist and full of meat and veggies, these are delicious. The guava cream cheese was sweet. The filling wasn't equal but we weren't complaining. The taro ube bread was filled with taro, not too sweet but not enough ube for me. I think because the bread is purple that's what's considered "ube" ? I don't know. It's good but I would come back and try other ube options and they have plenty. I don't come often because it's across town for me but it's definitely a treat!

Outrageously Overpriced. Flour is cheap and theres no real amount of cheese or veggies in these buns. 10+ year customer. Simple items deserve simple price. Theyre making plenty of $ dont fret.

Valerio's Tropical Bake Shop is one of the most exemplary bakeries I have ever been to. I've only been a customer for about a year now but the quality of their baked goods almost makes their inexpensive prices look criminal. Their turon is always fresh and crunchy, the siopaos are consistently steamed and never overcooked, and their karaoka is to die for, just to name a few. Not to mention their helpful and respectful customer service. But don't take my word for it, go try it for yourself.
