A while back, we accidentally discovered the Native Oaks Golf Club while out and about. We decided to check out the membership info. And eat there at the new Shawii Kitchen. The girls (Hannah and Tori) taking our order were lovely and accommodating! (They may not still be there since this was a while back, but my husband plays golf there quite frequently now.)My husband had the French Dip, and I had the most delicious sandwich I've ever had, the Grilled Veggie. It sounds basic, but it was not! Sadly, I didn't get a photo.Chef Amy came out to see if I needed anything and said that the sandwich had three different types of cheese and the crispy parm grilled into the bread. Spinach, tomatoes, onions, grilled artichokes, and asparagus were inside. You HAVE to have this, Sammy!!!!We will be back!

The Best food in Valley Center and the Best Burger in San Diego County! They are open until 8pm every Wednesday night for dinner and we never miss it.

Everything coming out of the Native oaks golf course kitchen is delicious. Catered lunch for the tournament last week was typically well done, complementary tastes that you get from people who know food.

Food & staff are awesome! Very friendly and accommodating. Nice little hang out for a drink after a round of golf.

We were passing through Valley Center a couple mornings ago looking for a good place to stop and have a bite to eat for breakfast. Fortunately we checked yelp and saw this place was highly recommended, it did not disappoint! Amy and her crew were excellent the breakfast sandwiches were huge and delicious. Will be sure to pass back through this place next time we're in the area sounds like everything on the menu is amazing.

My wife and I had a lunch out here and were very happy. As locals the choices are limited in VC, now we have a new place to stop in. Will be back soon to try more of the menu.

I've been hearing about the place for awhile and thought I would try it out. Placed an order for the fish taco special and waited twenty minutes for the food. Ten minutes of the wait time was waiting for my my name to be called out for my togo that was sitting at the front counter. Looked busy, but they had plenty of staff. When I opened the box, it was very disappointing. Not even a lime or a lemon.

Nice to sit outside on the porch. Food is okay. Wine is so so, and very very small servings. I know it's a very small place but the prices seem high. It is a nice place to go in the late spring and summer when it's nice outside.

I want to give an honest review on this restaurant. It's really really good! Lots of people come here just for the food. They're not even golfers. Truly one of the best in VC. A couple of favorites are the strawberry chicken salad and the French dip. Always consistent. Highly recommended!!

I wanted to like this place. But the coffee looked like tea. It was just bad. The flowers on the table had brown/green water. The food was okay. It just seemed with a little effort it could be much better. The server was nice. Never asked if we wanted more coffee, but I bet she knew we wouldn't.

Great food. ... first time trying this place. Very confusing on what/ where / how you are supposed to dine, sit , order ..eat ?? There is no signs or employees that told us anything or even asked if they could help us when we walked in with " confused" faces on where to start to eat. So other patrons sitting at tables outside were of help. The food was great but the place needs a bit more organization. I'd for sure go back.

I've lived and worked here in Valley Center for 46 years. I do not golf but I love coming here for lunch. My husband and I sometimes split the burger. It's a half pound cooked perfectly very tasty and of course you have to get the tater tot's, it's just a great place to come and sit outside under the wisteria and listen to the birds and look at the beautiful golf course.

My husband and I stopped here on our way home from Harrah's. When we drove up I was a little bummed to see it's just a small kitchen, in a trailer, next to a golf course. Dear reader, I am happy to report that I am currently eating the most amazing sandwich of my life! I ordered the grilled veggie melt and added bacon with sweet potato fries. I was expecting the usual peppers, spinach, and onion... this baby is loaded with asparagus, artichokes, spinach, red onion, and tomatoes. A thin layer of shredded cheese is used on the outside of the bread to give it the perfect crispy texture without destroying the roof of your mouth. The bacon was thin and crispy but still juicy! And the sweet potato fries are waffle cut and tossed in cornmeal giving them a to die for crunch! It's counter service but the staff is very attentive. A great find all around!

Nice little golf club cafe. Prices have gone up 20%-30% from the menu posted here, but good news is the menu price includes tax (as it should be!). Friendly staff

My 1st time trying this spot. It's literally 5 minutes from my home. I was hoping to say I loved it but I cannot. I asked for a well done cheeseburger for my husband and it was medium and pink inside. I ordered the Chipotle chicken wrap. What I was given was a plain chicken wrap with branch dressing. I think it could have been way better for paying $30.
