We love this spot in Valley Ford. Really good food and really nice folks taking care of you. It gets crowded here but worth any inconvenience it might cause. I've always been able to get a table with a group or a couple of spots at the bar without a lot of wait times. Oysters are great here of course but lots of other things that I have found all to be very tasty. Usual Sonoma county prices. We always go back.

I used to love their clams until they changed their prices and made it not worth going out of my way for anymore. Plus charging 4% for cc on top of sales tax, the after adding tip you're spending like a minimum of 30+% on top of the whole bill! My $40 meal ended up costing almost $60. after tipping! Their clams are the best but the fried calimari was way overcooked and almost burnt. My friends didn't even want to help eat the dish because it even looked disgusting. A once a week place is now just a place that I avoid now. That 4% made them lose a good customer along with all our friends-word gets out. Updated response: I am not the only one that noticed a 4% added charge. The waiter told us it was a hotel cc charge which was new to me. Also, the fried calimari was definitely on the menu a few years ago. I had it with 2 friends and they confirmed it and confirmed how bad it was. (Yes, it's been a few years since I've been back.) Maybe I will try again since we definitely love your clams and always give a 2nd chance.

We always pass by Rocker OysterFeller driving through Valley Ford On our way to our place in bodega Bay. This means we always have the dogs with us. I wrote to them on Instagram to see if there's any covered patio space for dogs during rainy days and they said there was. Luckily, the day we stopped by was not raining. I had reserved a table for 6+2 dogs in the patio for Sunday brunch through their Instagram messaging. I love when businesses actually reply! They have a large patio space and many tables were patronized, most with dogs. There was only one large table seated indoors. There's also a small bar area which we did not go to. I only walked through the inside to go to the restroom. If you are seated in the patio, make a right when you go through the doors, and then a left before getting to the bar to get to the toilet! Service was slow, so don't expect to be in and out in a flash, but you can enjoy your drinks and conversation while you wait. They brought water out for the dogs, and there was plenty of space to put our large dogs in the corner. We got some tasty oysters and I ordered the harvest salad. It was drenched in a vinaigrette which I like, but if you don't like that much dressing, I would ask for it on the side. The salad is very small and would not satisfy most people as a meal on its own, although it is meal prices. One person in my party did not get his soup with the rest of the appetizers and both his soup and burger came out after everybody else's meals so that was disappointing for him, but overall friendly and apologetic service, good outdoor space for nice days. It has its own parking lot.

So cozy inside. Great bar and sweet restaurant. SECRET: During happy hour, incredible fish tacos for $3.50 and the appetizers are $7.50. And delicious. Eating out for two in these parts is expensive, but we only spent $25.00 for tacos and appetizers that were exceptional.

Ordered their fried chicken to go. Regular and "Nashville". Basically a greasy turd, which was obviously cooked hours before, and then tossed back into the fryer. The breading was falling off (non-existing) and it was a greasy overcooked trash. Ended up throwing it away. Waste of money and very annoyed. Also ordered some wings. All flaps. Don't try and cook southern food if you can't even fry chicken correctly. Only reason they got two stars was their drink menu was very well thought out and we had a couple of shrimp tacos so we didn't starve.

Excellent food and beverage; fabulous employees just bummer that dining room smelled so strong of the fried food kitchen. Would go back but hopefully could get a barstool or sit outside if not freezing.

A warm, cozy beacon of light, warmth, and most importantly delicious food and drink in the tiny town of Valley Ford. Walk past the locals with their tales of lore, imbibing cider from apples that fell not a hundred yards away, and arrive at a the bustling dining room where friendly service delivers piping hot plates of Southern comfort flavors. Why this place doesn’t have a Michelin Bib Gourmand distinction is a mystery. Try one of everything, and definitely inhale a plate or two of the most scrumptious beignets outside of New Orleans.
