“The “Fried Chicken Shawarma” sandwich was one of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever tasted. It delivered on flavor and the chicken was so crispy. The spicy tahini and charmoula add such great notes that distinguishes it from your ordinary chicken sandwich. This is not your ordinary chicken sandwich.. This one is special.!!!!

“When you offer food this cheap specially in a area like Westwood all I expect is the food to be average and I'll be happy but falafel Inc. Is waaay above average. Everything is so fresh from the crispy falafel to the pickled onions. U can get a fries and a loaded pita for under 12 bucks in 5-10min. They also have their soy shawarma which packs a lot of spices so if you're looking for subtle flavor go for the falafel.
Only problem I have about this place is the tables and chairs outside. I had the same ones from ikea and they are horrible. They're not stable, the sauce cups fall through the gaps, and the table is barely big enough to keep your food. It's almost like they don't want you to dine in. If they switch out the seating for better/ more comfortable ones that'd be great.

“This review is to show that tahini was added to our uber eats delivery order when we said no to tahini (spoke with the person on the phone and was told that upload pictures for proof. uber eats told me to speak to the restaurant directly). My gf loves your food but she is severely allergic to tahini. And I always specify no tahini but you guys sometime put tahini (happened again). She wont eat so we need to throw it away“

“Some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. I ordered the Hummus and Falafel Plate (vegetarian) and the whole plate was a beautiful presentation with amazing flatbread and falafel. The service was decent for LA. The ambiance is an amazing outdoor seating venue that is very picturesque. We ate here around 11am when they opened on a Friday. It started getting packed around 12pm. Definitely recommend this place.

Hummus + Falafel “

“Gladys is a gem. Friendly, welcoming, sweet. She took my order and as always efficient. When I went in to pick up my meal, which has been a very regular occurrence, she was on a break. I asked the young lady taking my money to thrown in some pickled as I always do. She was staring at the register and after a time I asked if I could swipe my card. She explained that the pickles had charged when only with a bowl. I mentioned that it’s never been mentioned and said she would speak to Gladys about that. That is NOT what you tell a customer when you can’t figure out how to enter it and make them wait. I asked to speak with a manager and she proudly announced that she was one of the ones in charge. She proceeded to further explain about the charge, but she would give me one this time. It’s not the money, but a friendly welcome with a smile would have been preferred. Every other employee is fabulous, but I suggest that this person gets advised on customer service. There are other establishments with food and for that matter other Zankou’s. Here’s to Gladys for doing a great job!“

“I love their Garlic “goop” for the chicken. However, I am not willing to pay what they want for a rotisserie chicken when I can get a great chicken elsewhere for less than half the price.
IE: Costco’s chickens are awesome.
We buy the garlic goop from Zankou which is literally right across the street from Costco.
I know they will despise this review but I am simply being honest.“

I’ve eaten in a better places ..but again it a matter of taste .. they still got for me 5 starts as they are a local business and I support their efforts to hire local people.. but they need to improve the service and the quality of the food..“

“This used to be the falafel king in Westwood! We were so bummed out when they went out of business. We were going there for decades and missed those chips that they served so now it’s called the falafel queen and one of the employees opened it up and he had all the recipes so it’s worth the drive for sure.“

“I love this place! I have been coming here for over 5 years now, and the food never disappoints! Their kabobs are so delicious with their buttery rice very delicious! They recently added manaeish to their menu which is a Lebanese flatbread and they are all amazing especially the cheese boreg!“
