Although this is a staple place in van nuys with the restaurant being here forever, it definitely has homey diner vibes. Let's start with the parking, extremely small parking lot, I'd say 7 small spots with not very close street parking. Covered Seating on the outside and inside had 6 booths and two small tables in the middle. So it is very cramped. You order at the counter first with the menu being on top with the smallest font ever. Customer service is very nice with it being a Sunday morning. Their system is old and old school so it is slow to pay. They warn you that there is going to be a 30min wait for food which is understandable considering it was busy. Drinks come out, mocha cappuccino is from those premade machines, large quantity but ofc taste is not the best. Mango strawberry smooth tasted like sink water, pure sink water so that was a no. Food: biscuits and gravy, yummy bread and sauce was mid had to add extra salt and pepper. Turkey sausage breakfast sandwich was good but ofc falling apart with nothing special about it. Tutufruity French toast was the best part. It was very good. Everything was something we could make at home but I get it it's a diner, but there's no uniqueness to it. But I do say it was super cheap! So if you want sm cheap and homey id recommend. Don't forget to tip!!

2024/02/05What a Gem. What an absolute Gem of a place! I came to LA early Feb during the rainy flood storm in SoCal, and was introduced to an amazing corner fast food joint. I even asked if they had a souvenir shirt but they didnt have any, so i kept my fountain drink cup with the logo instead.I got the Pastrami Reuben Sandwich which was excellent. My cousin and his girl shared a "big breakfast" dish(s). The workers were absolutely sweet. I honestly wanna make this MY pit stop every time i travel to and from NorCal. Eventually ima try everything.Parking seems minimal on site, but there is AMPLE seating including a tented area outside
The first burger I tasted on American soil ? an unforgettable memory, kind and helpful people.11 years later I hope one day to be able to come back.I highly recommend.

It was my first time here but won't be my last! It was poppin on a Friday night so I had to wait about 5 minutes for a table at around 5:45 (no big deal). Everyone was so sweet. I was waiting for my friends and they kept asking if I needed anything while I waited. The menu is HUGE and a tad overwhelming. I finally decided on a cheeseburger and my daughter got French toast with eggs. The food was good and so cheap! It was $15 for our meal (both items). The fries were good and crispy. The ranch was amazing. I want to come back and try other items since there are so many. They have a lot of tables and the service was excellent. The diner feel was so cute and it's a great place to take kids. There is lots of parking and I can't wait to come back!
