Extremely casual atmosphere, which was adequate for the occasion. Customers choose from their selection of raw meat: beef, lamb, chicken, or fish. I had the tomahawk steak. Grilled to order, excellent. Limited sides selection. But, I'm looking forward to my next visit.

This place is 1/1 in a whole LA. You can get a plate or bowl or just a my favorite is chicken or steak by itself, great to stop by after gym and get your proteins in.wide options of meat ,sause, rice or fries, MEAT COOKED HOWEVER YOU WANT WITH WHATEVER YOU WANT. I’ve been there 5 times already and it became my #1 destination for quality meat run . Most important, check your order before you leave , they get very busy, but they always make it right with a customer .11/10

This place is pretty good! There is plenty of parking. You can run some errands while you're there too. I went on July 24th just before 3pm. The restaurant itself wasn't that busy but there were a handful of people picking up to go orders. The place is small but it had about seven tables with only a few taken.

I love that you can customize a plate, bowl or sandwich. There are a lot of meat options including seafood. I ordered a pita with chicken thighs, garlic sauce, cucumber, tomatoes, onions and lettuce. The chicken was cooked perfectly and had so much flavor. Everything tasted fresh. The pita was falling apart before I even picked it up and was hard to eat but everything tasted so good. I'll probably order it as a bowl next time to avoid the messiness.

I guess the only complaint I had was that the place was a little dirty. The tables weren't wiped down and almost half of them didn't have napkins. The guy who took my order was nice but there was nobody there cleaning the dining area. Not a deal breaker but it was sorta gross.

Chop Shop is a hidden gem located in Saticoy Plaza in Van Nuys. I've visited many times and keep coming back because the food is consistently impressive. The flavors are truly exceptional.

One standout dish for me is the Lamb chop served with rice, beet salad, and hummus; it's simply delicious. Beyond their diverse menu, they offer an incredible selection of high-quality meat cuts that are worth exploring.

If you're a fan of lamb chops, this place is a must-visit. Everything is cooked fresh daily, including their tri-tips, chicken, and beef. You have the option to purchase the meat raw or have it prepared for you, which adds to the appeal.
Their meat selection is insane from Tomahawk, beef kabob, steak, lamb kabob, ground beef and steak, shrimp and many more options (see pictures)

Overall, it's a fantastic spot that any food lover should consider checking out.

The meat from here is amazing! We get their build a salad bowl with tri-tip. The atmosphere doesn't exist, but that's ok, the food makes up for it.

This is an awesome spot for high quality meat offerings to take home and cook as well as really nice prepared meals! They have a smoker BBQ outside which smells heavenly. The style of prepared food leans Greek influence IMO but is delicious with healthy KETO friendly options. Nothing has been overpowered by seasoning or drowned in sugary sauces. They have an array of dressings available to top your orders with. Service is always friendly, attentive and the place is impeccably clean. It feels like a family business for sure. It’s best for takeout but they do have indoor and outdoor seating for a quick lunch or dinner stop.

Their meat is good but a little salty. Service is fantastic. Prices are a little towards the higher end and expensive. Overall, it is a good place if you want to pay a little more and if you don't mind it being a little on the saltier end. I didn't eat there, I bought meat and barbecued at home.

Got the smoked ribs. They were smoked a few days ago I fear. Pretty sure they were smoked, sat out a while, sat in the fridge, then were heated up again after we ordered. When they said the ribs were smoked I didn’t know we had to ask when.
Service was really friendly so the ribs not being good was a bummer.
