Los tacos de chicharrón y de pastor 😋

My go to spot whenever I hit up LA. Seriously brings so much nostalgic flavors of eating at Boyle Heights taco stands and generational family cooking. Favorites from the menu are tacos, super nachos, birria tacos with Consume, and the flan. Parking is very easy as well which is a plus

Had an Alex special (I think that's the name of it), it was really especially since it was all vegan......I'm not a vegan.

I didn’t enjoy my burrito because it was filled with red onions, which I wasn’t expecting. The strong flavor of the red onions overpowered everything else and affected my experience. I’ll give them another try next time and make sure to ask for white onions or no onions. The service was very nice, so I’m giving them 5 stars for now and will update my review after my next visit.

We ordered a good mix of birria dorados with extra cheese and consome, asada tacos and the al pastor burrito. Insane, I have never had birria before (not even before I went vegan) and this is unbelievable. Everything was so good! The staff was very patient while taking our order and was helpful. We hope to come back soon, we need El Cocinero in Europe urgently.

Reasonable prices, very tasty taco fillings.i have never been to a place that has 7 different vegan protein options! Service is friendly but not fussy. Be sure to try the street corn and the carnitas! Wish we lived in town to be able to eat here often!
