Food is good but they take forever to prepare your food even if you call ahead. They didn't even start my order until I said something Second time they did this to me 32 minutes to make 2 tortas! Stressful be waiting a lot especially when you order before other people ?

I stumbled upon this place while looking for a place to have dinner while working in Van Nuys for the evening. I had seen a photo of their taco plate on a Google review. So that’s what I decided to get. The man who took my order was polite and professional. I ordered the al pastor tacos with rice, refried beans and tortilla chips. I also had the agua de jamaica to drink. The price was very reasonable. After I ordered I walked into their dining room, which was small but comfortable. They had an open salsa bar which included red salsa, green salsa, coleslaw and radishes (all very fresh and tasted good). My food came out quickly and it was all delicious. I ate so quickly I forgot to take photos lol. Thank you, El Ranchito. You have a customer for life!

Can't go wrong here. Everything here is good. Food is very tasty here. Tacos are the best, fish Tacos, shrimp Tacos, and their Carne Azada are my favorite ones. Everyone is very friendly, the place is very clean and the prices are fair here. I definitely recommend this place.
