I stopped at this place eager and excited to try some mata niños. When I first got inside I saw two mata niños on display and thought they were for show only. When I ordered mine the lady served the one that had been sitting out there for who knows how long. When I got to my car to eat my mata niño the bread aside from being rock hard, even had a piece of the wax paper where it had been sitting on most likely the whole day. This is unsanitary and did not eat it. All the ingredients look old and not safe to eat at all.

Horrible place, horrible food with no taste and it's cold, I don't want to go out to eat cold food and the service is too slow when the place is never full, the products are expensive but that may not be a big problem, the real problem is that they are expired, I bought a sweet chamomile and they were stale once I went and I will never return.

The name is there, the presentation is there, but the flavor is lost and is not the same as the other locations. I ordered torrejas but they are made of bolillos; It is literally like eating bolillo with sugar honey. I asked for French and they gave me bolillos (not that they are bad but they are not French). As for what people complain about, perhaps a "we'll take care of it now" might help instead of simply acting as if nothing had happened.

The pupusas are very delicious, on Thursdays there is a promotion and they are $1, the restaurant is inside the Jons store, recommended if you like pupusas

I've been coming to this grocery store for over a year now. Never tried La Tapachulteca but the main place is Jons. I started coming when I lost my job and every time I did my daily walks I went there for fruits and later for other goods. Now I go there for primary items, the store is clean, Personnel is very attentive I love going there.
