If I could give zero stars I would. I came to support, but the food is so bad and gave my friend food poisoning. This place needs better management. I’d suggest choosing a better place with better food and INTEGRITY.

This seems to be a good spot to catch a bite. Until I see the prices. I don't think restaurant's care that our rent went up 4% our auto insurance by 31%, Gas always sky high, basically everything is too high. So when I come to a spot. I need to get full. I may be willing to pay more but that should mean I get more. If I spend $60 bucks eating there I don't want $25 dollars worth of food. The portions are super small. Its not just about taste anymore. Its about getting full. I'd rather spend $30 at Pollo Loco and feed the family. Rather than eat once and go home and we're all still hungry afterwards. When the portions size grow up I may eat out again but as of now. I'm only eating for value and health. That means cooking at dam home!

TERRIBLE!!! This was an absolutely horrible dining experience. This place should be called NO NO NO NO! They had NO lamb chops, NO oysters, NO Mac n' Cheese, NO yams, NO oxtails and NO hot sauce! ALSO, they had NO crawfish for the Etouffèe! Get this! All of these things were on the menu!! LMFAO, you can't make this up. And the greens were terrible. I will NOt be coming back. Waste of a good Sunday.

Ok soooooo where do I start.... Welp they didn't have anything on the menu I wanted. It was not in or they haven't got it yet type of hype. Mind you we got there for a 1:30pm reservation so everything should have been on the menu buuuuttttt the menu was out of things to pick.. I'm from Texas and I wanted certain things that they didn't have but I hope someone else has a better experience than I did... I will be in Cali again but not going here for food...

I recently visited Mom's Haus Hollywood for a dining experience that left me with mixed feelings. Here's a breakdown of my thoughts on the various aspects of the meal.Let's start on a positive note. The catfish nuggets at Mom's Haus Hollywood were undeniably a hit. With a perfect blend of crispy exterior and tender fish inside, they stood out as a flavorful and satisfying choice. The black-eyed peas, too, were a delightful surprise, offering a rich and tasty experience that added a positive touch to the overall meal.Unfortunately, the sides left something to be desired. While the catfish nuggets and black-eyed peas shone, the price point for the sides seemed a bit steep for the relatively small portions served. A reevaluation of the portion-to-price ratio could greatly enhance the overall value of the dining experience. My original choice of cabbage was met with disappointment when I was informed it was unavailable. Opting for the greens instead, I found them lacking the depth of flavor and tenderness I had hoped for. While not terrible, they certainly didn't elevate the meal as much as I had anticipated. The yams were another item that fell into the "just okay" category. While they weren't necessarily bad, they didn't leave a lasting impression. It might be worthwhile for Mom's Haus Hollywood to consider infusing a bit more flavor or creativity into this particular side dish.On a logistical note, the absence of to-go utensils was a surprising oversight. In the current environment, having these essentials readily available would undoubtedly enhance the overall customer experience.Despite these hiccups, I must commend the restaurant for its stellar customer service. The staff handled the situation well, and the wait time was reasonable, contributing to a positive atmosphere. In conclusion, Mom's Haus Hollywood offers a mixed bag of culinary experiences. While the catfish nuggets and black-eyed peas are definite winners, there's room for improvement in terms of side portions, consistency, and the availability of essential items. The fantastic customer service makes me inclined to give the restaurant another chance, but for now, I'd recommend an in-person visit to truly gauge the overall dining experience.

First time going. Was not impressed at all. Very overpriced and small food portions. $6 for lemonade? Wow. $25 for gumbo that looked like an appetizer bowl. $10 for a small sample of banana pudding. They were out of shrimp so they substituted for fried catfish and that made the grits so greasy. The catfish didn’t taste done. Money wasted. Won’t try again very disappointed. Service was good, nice environment but food wasn’t the best.

Let's start by saying the food they did have was good. There was a lack of menu options as they literally had a shortage of food and soft drinks on tap. It was to the point that two of my friends had to choose who would get the last thigh. All that to say, I wasn't happy with the 20% gratuity with a minimum of 4 people.
