OVERCHARGED me and neither Paos Pastries Cafe nor Doordash would like to reimburse me. I called Paos and the owner blamed Doordash and Doordash told me to handle it with the owner. On their menu each beef Saltenas de carne is $4.25 but I was charged DOUBLE for each. Who pays $37 for 4 small Saltenas de carne ? The owner agreed that it was incorrect pricing but that it was Doordash's responsibility. I also sent him a screenshot of the receipt to his phone per his request. Zero reply. He was also rude and unwilling to assist towards the end of our phone conversation. DO NOT PURCHASE from this restaurant or from Doordash. It's a RIP OFF & seems illegal. Both blame one another. No one takes accountability.

Decided to take myself out for lunch at a new place. Came out on a quiet saturday afternoon and had the place to myself. It's tucked away on a small street off Van Nuys Blvd, a block from the library. Ordering was easy and met with a big smile from the owner. Other reviews said to try the Silpancho and that's exactly what I wanted. Such a simple meal made with love. Perfectly fried steak on a bed of white rice and lightly fried potato slices, with two perfect eggs ontop and an onion tomato garnish. Got their strawberry lemonade as well. Sweet and refreshing on a warm summer day. Decided to sit outside under an umbrella. Everything came out fast and hot. Portion is quite large, I ate half and am taking the other half for later. Will have to come back for the Salteñas and coffee!

I have been going to this place since they first opened. As a Bolivian from Cochabamba the food is exactly or even BETTER. The portion sizes I can feed up to 3 so delicious i definitely recommend the chicken salteñas so yummy and I will always love this family owned restaurant and there’s mochochinchi so delicious !
I have never experienced worst customer service in my life, The lady working there, I believe her name was Patty didn't even greet me and when she took my order she seemed very irritated by the simple questions I was asking her. A smile would of gone a long way. It was my first and last time going to this establishment.
Amazing service. Very kind employees. The food was amazing, felt like Bolivia again. I would definitely recommend.
First and last time ordering food from this place, the food is terrible. The salteñas are soggy and had no flavor at all, the salad is so old that is brown in color, the alfajores didn’t taste any good either, could not finish eating it. This place gives Bolivian food a terrible bad reputation, the food not only lacks in flavor and quality, they are also selling old food. Hopefully we won’t get sick for trying out this place.
Adore, what would LA do without Pao’s!!
It was amazing. You should try Bolivian food in here! Also I’m from Turkey I saw many dishes we have in common .
Super delicious and authentic food. However, the restaurant is very small, and they do not have the proper amount of staff to tend to people. I would definitely go back but buy to go.

Everything was great. The food was super good, loved the Saltenas, both the chicken and beef, and the soup mani was super good with the potatoes and creamy base. The cookies were tasty and drinks were good too, not too sweet. Place is small but friendly/cozy. Waiter was helpful and gave great service. Would definitely come back again
