An Absolute Gem of a Bakery!
It's truly a rare find to encounter a place that consistently exceeds expectations, and Marash Bakery is an extraordinary exception. My recent visit was nothing short of perfection, largely thanks to the owner, who is genuinely an angel.
As someone very new to Armenian cuisine, I had so many questions about the various hot breads and savory pastries. The owner's patience and generosity were truly remarkable. He took the time to meticulously explain each item, like the delicious sujuk bread (which I learned more about!), and in an incredibly kind gesture, even sent me home with a selection of different things to try. This allowed me to truly appreciate the depth of their offerings. His passion for his craft and his customers is palpable; he is, without a doubt, the most gracious host and business owner I have ever encountered. His warmth and genuine kindness not only made my day but left a lasting positive impression.
Beyond the exceptional service, the food itself was absolutely incredible. Every single thing I tasted was a testament to authentic Armenian flavors and culinary excellence. The hot breads were perfectly baked, and every savory bite was simply delicious. Furthermore, the bakery maintains an impeccable level of cleanliness, and convenient parking is readily available – a definite plus!
Marash Bakery is a true culinary treasure, offering an unparalleled experience for anyone seeking delicious Armenian baked goods and warm, genuine hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Having breakfast at Maraş Bakary was an unforgettable experience! It’s a small and cozy place that makes you feel right at home. The owner, despite being Armenian, speaks excellent Turkish and greeted us with genuine warmth. Everything served was meticulously prepared, and you could taste the quality in every bite. Even my daughter and niece, who usually have a hard time with food, finished their plates with joy! And we couldn’t resist the buttery cookies, devouring every last one despite being full. This is a place you just have to visit more than once!

I had an incredible experience at this bakery restaurant. The flavors took me back to my childhood, reminding me of my grandma’s recipes, and when I asked, they confirmed they use the same traditional methods I grew up with. We tried the cheese, cheese and pepper, and cheese spinach boregs, as well as some cookies—each one was absolutely delicious! The warm, welcoming service made us feel right at home, and despite the small dining area, the quality of the food and friendly atmosphere made it easy to overlook. Definitely a must-try spot—I’ll be coming back!

Excellent Armenian bakery, with delicious spinach cakes, lajmayun, date cookies, choreg, sesame cookies. First class attention, ladies serve very kindly. We bought lajmeyun, they were super large and the choreg, which is a sweet bread with soft spices, typical Armenian A+ The place is clean and pleasant, they have spaces to sit and taste their products.
Vegetarian options: They offer spinach cake and meneish (bread with spices)
Parking: It is a square with plenty of parking space.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is on the first floor and has space to accommodate a wheelchair.

The most tasty Lahmajoun I have ever eaten. It tastes like, homemade. The place is so clean, and cozy, I strongly recommend the stuffed cheese borek, and their Lahmajoun, straight out of the oven.

I stumbled upon this bakery while visiting a different shop in the plaza and was pleasantly surprised by the owners' hospitality. They kindly offered to prepare fresh lahmajun if I could wait a bit and even treated me to complimentary Armenian coffee during my wait. The highlight was that my family absolutely adored the lahmajun! It's definitely a place we'll keep coming back to.
