We popped in at 4:45pm, starving after missing lunch to go vote. We discovered an amazing old-school saloon inside with a pool table, juke box, and more. A wide selection on the menu of pub fare, salads and south african staples as well. We ate the best happy hour tacos I've EVER had and turkey salads. They have a huge beer selection and sports for those who like that kind of thing. No gluten-free beer, but the tacos and salad were gluten-free. There are cocktails, a N/A beer selection, and pellegrino. We are so happy we stumbled in here.

The service was great, all the waitresses were friendly and attentive.
I loved the dressing on the salad, itโs like a honey mustard vinaigrette.
Fries were average. Burger was under seasoned.
For $20, this was a great portion.

Springbok is simply the only pub in the area that makes me feel at home. I moved from SF and bartended and was part of the North Beach bar scene and thanks to Paul and the rest of the staff I now call this place home!
