First and foremost FRESH and Delicious sushi and sashimi. They have a ton of rolls but I'm not a roll guy but Sushi Goken knows how to combine fish and sauces. I did not take photos but know everything was plated beautifully. Even the sashimi was served on ice to keep the fish chilled. Will definitely return!

I accidentally ended up at this sushi place and the owner himself served us. Fast, beautiful, delicious. But, unfortunately, on July 5, 2025, the service was slow, although there were several people in the room. They brought old wasabi with dried edges, you can see it in the photo. All the dishes were chipped and this is unpleasant, even if the dish is beautifully presented. When I asked when they were closing, the girl started giving a lecture on something incomprehensible. Instead of simply naming the opening hours. They gave me the menu and forgot about us. That day, two people were spinning in the kitchen and there were 3 waiters in the room. The sushi was falling apart, but the taste was satisfactory. A girl came and started taking away the plates with uneaten food. I had to stop her with the phrase that we were still eating. But we had to wait for the check for payment. In general, we no longer go to this sushi until we meet the owner himself there. If there are days when the owner himself works in the restaurant, let us know in the ad and we will gladly visit his wonderful place.

This was just a random sushi visit with my gf looking for a close sushi place and found this restaurant less than 10 mins away from our place. Didnt expect much of this place but was surprice with the freshness of their sushi and their poke bowl was 👌. Not only that, their servers are very attendant and welcoming, I give them A+. We will be a returning customers.

We had a very bitter experience at the end of our meal ,we order banana tempura and green tea ice cream tempura, the server Christian told us the banana tempura wasn't available so we got a mango macaroon instead of banana tempura, he presented the togo boxes we asked for the macaroon and the check, wich i didn't ask for ,i understood we were done and pretty much on our way ,however the green tea ice cream was charged for,but never served i though he canceled it with the banana tempura, i disputed the ice cream charged, he said it was being made ,i didn't understand why i was being ask to pay when we where still expecting desert, i told him if it's made will take it them leave the bill as it is ,he said fine ,it's ready ,after a few minutes he comes back and explained to me that he didn't charged for it because he felt bad ,i thought i was complementary , but then he said he had canceled the order any ways i was like wtf are you serious? After presenting the check wich we didn't ask for he never mentioned the ice cream is on the way or anything, this was our first visit back to this place as Sushi Goken we used to go to makiyaki a lot ,but any ways sushi Goken this was our first and last visit ,this really ruined our experience everything was good until that point

The tuna was thick and virtully melted in my mouth. The ambiance was cool, and kcrw music was softly playing in the background. The sushi rolls were also amazing. I'm definitely going back with friends.
