Great quality food with flavors that really highlight the best of Peruvian cuisine. The portions are decent—enough to leave you satisfied without being overwhelming. What really stands out is the friendly and attentive staff, who go out of their way to explain the menu to tourists or anyone not familiar with Peruvian dishes. Their recommendations make it easy to try something new and authentic, and they ensure that your dining experience is enjoyable from start to finish. Overall, it’s a welcoming spot with delicious food, generous portions, and staff who genuinely care about helping you have a great experience.

The food was great. Their green Aji sauce was funky tasting. It was not spicy yet it had a hint of pickle flavor and I’m not a pickle person.
Great food but not great aji sauces.

Delicious and reasonable price.
Lovely food, first time ceviche was great, the chicken superb!
What it lacks in “atmosphere and that’s not bad “ it more than makes up for in service and FLAVOR! First time trying Peruvian cuisine and I AM A FAN NOW!
I recommend this place

I tried many Peruvian restaurants but takatis stands over the others ones cause their food is authentic and the pollo a la brasa is the best
Taste like I'm eating the real deal in Peru cooked with wood not gas propane but rela wood gave the chicken that smoggie flavor and combined with the authentic sauces yummy definitely recommend this place my top 1 for Peruvian food

Honestly, some of the best chicken and Peruvian food I have ever had. You can taste the flavor of the wood smoked chicken and Peruvian flavors in each bite. The lomo saltado dish was amazing too the steak cooked perfectly pink inside. I can’t recommend this place enough. Service was unparalleled as well! Five stars, will be back!
