The food was amazing! Some of the best Indian food I have ever had. Extensive vegan and vegetarian offerings, and well made. The food was very flavorful and not heavy at all. It was so good I forgot to take photos, so an update will be needed soon next time I order!

First time I visited The Halal Curry spot, I was very impressed with the service. My order (Chicken Tikka Masla) was absolutely amazing. So amazing that I reordered several times after... Each time, my food was prepared fresh and Muhammad and staff has consistently treated me with great customer service. If you are thinking of ordering food there, I HIGHLY recommend. The garlic Naan is also very tasty.

I had a real bad experience. Took take out on Dec 30 2021, food was stale and quantity too less. My home cooked dishes have better appearance and taste. I will never go back.

Chicken was raw. Don't usually leave bad reviews but uncooked chicken... yeah. The curry itself was also really thin and watery and didn't taste like much. Only thing edible was the naan. Mostly though I'm worried about getting salmonella now... Avoid.

I ordered the vegan aloo Gobi with rice and raita, cheese Naan, and the shrimp lava karahi. They weren't kidding about how spicy the shrimp lava karahi was! I love spicy food and this really hit the spot. Made a headache I was having better too. The vegan aloo Gobi had a nice, rich taste. Not crazy spicy like the shrimp lava karahi, but instead a robust blend of spices. Cheese Naan was great. Nice and gooey. Loved the raita too. It helped put out the fire in my mouth from the shrimp lava karahi. Overall, this was a fantastic meal with a tons of flavor, heat, and spice.

This looks like s*** omg . Never seen such biriyani like this anywhere else in my whole life. Ordered take away. Straightly took from the freezer and warmed it and packed it. What a waste this tastes like s*** old food. If you really want to waste your money and eat s*** this is the best place for that. Please stay away . Really disappointed zero stars . I went here after checking the reviews but what a disappointment.

Tried to order food tonight for 20 people but the guy on the phone was not interested in taking my order. Didn't have anything that is Pakistani food (Nihari, Boti Kabob) and told me to go Door Dash to see what is available. So disappointed!!!!
Extremely overpriced and definitely not worth it. I'm not sure what I was expecting in Van Nuys, but i guess the high ratings tricked me into giving it a chance. My girlfriend's lunch was mostly basmati rice, a tiny bit of chicken tikka masala, and what I think was an attempt at Chana masala. The Chana masala was the weirdest part. It was basically warmed up chickpeas with no seasoning.

Absolutely best butter chicken I've ever had. I won't be getting my butter chicken from anywhere else from now on. I had to call back and let them know how good it was.. plus the staff is very sweet and polite. So stoked I found a great Indian Place here in the Valley!

It took me a while to write this review, as I like to give honest reviews. I was really craving some some good tikka masala and haven't found many places in the SFV. I usually go out of the valley to get some. That being said I found this place and ordered some chicken tikka masala, lamb curry and butter chicken to go with rice. Every thing was delicious and very flavorful. I like spicy, however I was ordering for my family and couldn't order if spicy, so I can't comment on that :(. I'm American with no Indian/Pakistani heritage, so I can't say this is the most authentic dish I've ever had. However I will say that I am familiar with the food and this is definitely up there with some of the best that I've had.

SO GOOD! this is basically a sweet spot for a taste of food back home that you usually can't find in the states. The butter chicken is phenomenal and so is the chicken tikka. It's spicy but not overwhelming. The customer service is great and they really care and put love in your food. I always crave the naan too. Super soft naan. Also make sure you get the chai before you head home. love it definitely a 10/10

Ok so ordered food from here today, ordered the beef kabobs, beef Boti, and 2 chicken dishes. I have to say this is the worst food I have ever had, the food smells bad, the beef had a really bad smell to it, threw it out after first bite. The chicken was just ok, but nothing to rave about. I will not be ordering from here again and would not recommend this place to to anyone.
