I don’t know what it is about Africans and Caribbean’s opening up businesses in LA, and not staying true to their authenticity. There was literally nothing jollof about the rice, no flavor/no pepper, no seasoning. The goat was tender, but definitely not the flavor profiles that I was looking for. I also ordered a meat pie that was as consistent as the other dishes. Overall disappointing. Sorry💔

This is by far the worst African food I’ve ever tasted, I can’t even believe they sell this kind of food to the public. I ordered Jollof rice with fried plantain chicken and beef, the jollof rice doesn’t taste fresh, and like they just took it out from the freezer, the plantain has the worst quality not even edible. I also ordered efo riro which tasted horrible. Basically I had to throw most of the food away. This restaurant should not even be opened for business, they don’t sell quality foods that’s worth selling to the public. Their foods are like trial foods that you can eat at your own home, they shouldn’t be selling all these RUBBISH to the public. I’m HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED.

Good parking a nice location, but as soon as I entered a place my order I was in for a rude awakening. I was met with disrespect and conversation as a customer trying to communicate that I needed something from my wallet back, which wasn’t even my card. It was my ID. Why would I need my ID at a restaurant that is not serving alcohol you ask well I was asking the same thing.The shop made me do extra verification for my identity just to make a purchase, which is extremely unorthodox. I’ve never heard this before, so I’m asking for my drivers license back and they refused to give it to me saying they need it for their records. Terrible customer service uncomfortable atmosphere do not come here. I heard that jollof rice is good though I would order through Uber eats if possible but avoid human interaction at all cost and the sad thing is as a West African myself I wanted to support my local business, but this was just not a good encounter and I was very uncomfortable.

I don’t know how this restaurant is still operating, I wish there’s zero ⭐️. The worst and tasteless food ever. I will never buy or recommend this place ever. Don’t waste your money.

I got beef stew with fufu
,the beef stew looked like it was just heated up and I kid you not there’s was only 3 small slices of very hard beef I PAID 30$!!!!!
Then when u walk in they have a very angry face ,I came here twice and it’s been the same problem.They never have customers but I’m sure it has to do a lot with them serving old soups / meat and horrible customer service.They look angry every time .

My first time ordering food here was yesterday via uberEat. I ordered efo riro, egusi soup, side jollof rice, side goat meat and meatpie. The efo riro tasted spoilt ( had to spit it out and rinse my mouth, and the same with my kids), the egusi soup (though tasted 3 days old rewarmed soup) and meatpie were manageable while the side goat meat tasted like last meat inside a week old soup that has experienced rewarming for days. I called, and spoke with the manager. The manager offered no solution but instead defended their establishment, and ended up saying he would discuss with the chef and get back to me tomorrow, which is today. If there is a negative zero review, I would have given. I never had this bad experience from where I used to buy from before. This place provides no value for one's hard earned money. The efo riro didnt also look appealing. And My family ended up eating something else yesterday for dinner. On a side note, no follow up call from the manager as promised. . Never to buy from here again.

Just ordered beans and plantain with goat meat. Lol I’m sorry but you need to change your chef. There was literally no tomatoes and/or oil in the beans, it was plain beans my goodness. The goat meat tasted like there was zero seasoning on it. I indicated I needed utensils, they didn’t add it so I had to use my hands to eat. This was really bad. Gosh.

I went in for a pick up , some tall African lady helped me she was so rude ! The cups were going to fall and she didn’t care I had to use a bag some other guy had to help me , she raised her voice at Me to ! Rudest lady ever If you can’t be nice stay at home and don’t work!!

This is what I got at Toto’s for $30 smh not a good experience the jollof rice I give a 2 and the efo riro I give a five altogether I’ll give the food a 7 which is probably to high that’s my honest opinion I had way better Nigerian food for way less . Well I be back , No ! Absolutely not
