I have been to this location before. Today 7/6/25 I ordered a 1/4 chicken plate and a falafel plate. The young man who took my order was very patient and kind. Really everyone I happen to make eye contact with was attentive and kind. It was quite refreshing to see young men so courteous. The lemonade was perfect! I may go back for a cup of it. When I picked up the chicken breast I thought it was undercooked, but when I tell you it was the juiciest chicken breast I ever had. It was so delicious. I am not sure what they put in those falafels because they are so good its insane🤤. The humas and tabouleh were so yummy. I truly don't like to eat out these days but I must admit I am never disappointed with Zankou food. Please let the staff know that the kindness and good food lifted my spirits and put a smile on my face😁😍😊. Thank you. My only critique is not to wear gloves and touch multiple things lol. I noticed them all wearing gloves but it is more sanitary to change them often or only touching one thing if keeping the same pair on. Other than that you all get an A++

I love Zankou Chickens but this is my least favorite location. It’s crowded & I’m happy they’re busy. They deserve it. The acoustics inside this location are terrible. It’s super loud and bright with the tile floors, brick walls and concrete ceiling. There is no surfaces to absorb the noise and it’s a very uncomfortable environment to spend any time. I feel bad of the employees.

Zankou food has always been great food since they opened years back. This particular location has always convinced me with their food and great customer service as well as cleanliness of the restaurant. They moved from original location on Sepulveda and Burbank Blvd. To Sepulveda and Erwin near Victory Blvd.
Their garlic sauce, turnip pickle and hummus are something to die for. Food options are great Rotisserie juicy chicken with pita bread are really tasty 😋.

We all come here for that garlic sauce. I usually order chicken but kabobs here are great too. The restaurant is clean, has bright interior, good service.
The chicken is pretty consistent all the time. It comes with pita bread, turnips and diced tomato and a hummus of course! Sark meat chicken 1/4 was very small for some reason so I stick to white meat only.
The pricing is ok, not the cheapest place but its worthy.
If you haven't tried their garlic sauce - the time has come. Highly recommended 👍

I ordered a whole chicken which comes with a two pack of pita. The two pack of pita was covered in mold when I got home with my order. I called and told the manager Maria about this and she said I'm making up a lie. Then she asked me to drive the 30 min back to show her. When I came in I said I don't want a refund I want to make sure people don't get sick I've been coming to for the last ten years. She called me a liar to my face. I told her I'm contacting my lawyers and leaving reviews for everyone to hear about this. She accused me of driving almost one hour there and back to exchange food, at an establishment I've eaten at 30 times plus a year at for 10 years like I'm running a super long con. Embarrassing for Maria the manager and embarrassed for Zankou as a corporation for selling food which lead to product liability laws impeded and is clear case for negligence in food safety.
