I truly adore this place. My cousin with celiac who rarely vacations came to visit me. I was panicked as I am new to LA and most places I found were not 100% gluten free. I came across this gem and we were both obsessed. We even went in two nights in a row! The food and wine are superb and every employee is dynamic, kind, informative, and all-around lovely. They also introduced me to my new favorite wine: Moravia for life! Very thankful to 401k for making my cousin’s trip and for cementing itself as one of my new favorite places.

401k food and wine bar is a dedicated gluten free restaurant. They have delicious food that is so good my gluten eating husband kept asking if I was sure the food was safe for me. We had the Caesar salad, arugula salad, calamari, chicken and waffles, mini churros, and bread pudding. The servers were delightful, energetic, friendly, and gave great food recommendations. I can’t wait to visit again. It’s such relief to know everything is safe and to have such a great meal.

Went there for a birthday and I recommend it! Food was good. I do suggest getting a few plates for the table the portions are small. It's more of a Tapas place. Wine was excellent and the waitress really made a point of helping us understand our wine and what to order in the future! Dessert was also excellent.

Had such a great time!!! This place has been on my list for a while and I was so happy to finally get to try it. It did not disappoint! The food wasn't just amazing because it was gluten-free, it was GENUINELY delicious. My friend who isn't gluten-free was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was! The service was fantastic. They were so accommodating and went above and beyond to honor a request I made when booking the reservation. 10/10 and can't wait to come back again!

The food was exceptional. I really want to stress how flavorful and delicious the food was!! My critique is for ambience only. We were seated outside and the view was not great. The slatted barrier around the courtyard provided an uncomfortable visual of the alley way traffic with many people seeking shelter/food/homelessness. Next time I will request an inside table.

I have had to eat gluten free for almost a decade now and this is by far one of the best menus I have found in California. Even if I wasn't GF, I would still be eating here. Food is always 12/10 along with service + ambiance. A note to the Open Table developers: need to enable 6 star ratings literally just for 401k.
