on a rainy day, the soft lighting, gentle music, and comfortable seating provided a nice cozy escape from outside. the service was incredible from all - I love when the owner is out taking care of customers too and especially when they make you feel right at home from the first impression.
we ordered the old world wine tasting trio special, focaccia bread, arugula salad, mini corn dogs, and swordfish which were all delicious.
at the end they brought over a birthday cupcake from their connected bakery as we were celebrating a birthday. the frosting was my favorite kind with a really rich flavor and texture.

Food was good. Especially for being gluten free. They made us pay for water!!! They never told us we would have to pay for it and only gave us the option of still or sparkling. Not a huge fan of that, but given their niche they can probably get away with it. It was dark so probably better for more intimate dinners not for large groups. I honestly just don’t get why these places are so dark, maybe I just don’t understand it

A hidden gem, great selection of wine and a super gluten-free friendly spot!
My friends and I went here for a celebratory meal, and had such a great time. 401K has a very inviting atmosphere, one which is intimate yet relaxed. We had the Goats Cheese appetizer which was perfect to share between the 3 of us, and was delicious! Since it is tapas-style, we shared 4 dishes - Chicken & Waffles, Alfredo (the best i've ever had), fries and calamari! The serving sizes are great, and great for your $$$ - Loved this place, and our server was lovely. She was so friendly and gave us fantastic recommendations. Will be going back again soon!

Thursday night wine tastings are the best! The owner is very knowledgeable and has a passion for teaching the nuances of tasting. She can always be relied on to choose an interesting and off the beaten path group of wines to taste.
We did the wine tasting and bingo night. Great experience with the owner who is quite knowledgeable and helps you understand more about the wines served. A few small plates included which were delicious! We will do it again!
Great Food!! Mt wife eats GF, so she has wanted to come to the restaurant. So, as a non-GF eater my saying the food is great is not because it is great for GF food it is great food period. Don't let the lack of Open Table reservations deter you from coming as we learned it doesn't reflect what is available once you get to the restaurant.
The food was incredible!! Even my girlfriend, who does not eat gluten free was wowed by the food. We got the goat cheese and toast, the biscuits, the chicken and waffles, the marzipan cake, and the churros. Everything was so flavorful and you would never know it was gluten free. This should be a bucket list restaurant for anyone who eats gluten free. It was such a treat!

Not only was the service amazing but THE FOOD was even better. You could not even tell the food was gluten free and there so many options for other diets. The vibe was amazing and I cannot believe I have been living in this area for a year without discovering this GEM!!!
This is one of the best gluten-free places I've ever experienced. The fresh elevated street food dishes are exceptional! I had the mac & cheese and sesame bun beef sliders and OMG so good I went back and got the same dishes a second time! The employees are awesome, the atmosphere/vibe on the outdoor patio is so inviting with natural light, Brazilian samba and urban trendy shabby chic decor. Unfortunately they didn't have a "to go" container big enough to fit the entire restaurant in so I could take the entire place back home to the SF Bay Area with me. I give this place a 10/5 stars! ❤️
Parking: Parking was tricky and limited- the restaurant faces a busy street with no parking, the side streets on either side are hard to find parking as it's a residential neighborhood and it seems to be at capacity most of the time. I visited twice, first time dine-in second time takeout, both times I had to drive around the blocks and wait some time before a space opened up. I sat in a red zone for at least 15 minutes waiting for someone to leave. But the food is SO worth the effort!!

AMAZING food ! One of us is not gluten free and when he saw it was an all GF menu he wasn't happy but after eating he said he was a convert , that all the food was incredible ! Also the owner and serving staff do a great job to make you feel special !
Fantastic, all gluten free which is nice as a celiac. Some of the best tapas I’ve had and have been all over the country.
I am a 13 year old, gluten free, saying that this is the best gluten free restaurant i’ve ever been to. Even so, it is amazing for non celiac people. Had the sliders, and they were amazing. Customer service is also amazing. Staff is super nice and respectful. They play Italian music for ambiance, and it really sets the mood. Their sister location down the street is a desert shop. Also amazing. Over all, the best restaurant I’ve ever been to.
