This modern store is very large and all items are nicely displayed. There is an ample supply of vegan products, organic products and a very nice take out area.

Ordered a cheese on rye sandwich at the WF deli, was charged a dollar extra for "extra cheese" and an additional $7 for the sandwich. Opened it on my flite to Europe to find 2 extremely thin half slices of cheese , a bunch of lettuce, rye bread with NO taste, and a slimy tomato slice. What a rip-off! This is a little thing , but indicative of the extremely overpriced goods at Whole Foods and the lack of attention or caring. This is a low quality rip=off! Will NEVER shop there again and will spread the news.

This is one of the most busiest Whole Foods locations we have ever been to! Located on Lincoln Blvd. and in the heart of Venice you can see why! Being at a busy store is great for the customers and travelers because they have a high food turn around rate. In a nutshell it means that new food gets made instead of recycled at slower locations! Each and every employee we ran into in Santa Monica had great customer service! I even had the pleasure of meeting Wesley Snipes in the prepared foods section one evening! You never know who you will run into in Venice! Great location with plenty of great organic products to buy! Doesn’t matter if you are walking riding this is definitely a cool location with cooler surroundings! Just another day in Venice!

Sometimes you don't know with WF. I've been to a lot of them from New York/DC and many places in-between to the west coast. This one was was good - friendly staff and lots of good food (we used their to-go food buffet and were happy with the selection and quality)... Oh, and I used their bar for a beer - a very friendly bartender.

Doesn’t matter what time of day you visit- the people who work here are rude. The customers are stressed-out and high strung because this place is so difficult. I’ve seen fights in the parking lot. The lot is so tightly packed as most LA Whole Foods lots are. The employees are either upity and agressive or ignore you completely. I’ve had some really unpleasant encounters with staff. Feels more like the middle of NYC rather than a sweet little beach town. Also, the prepared food section’s vegan food is so bad I’m pretty sure the chef doesn’t like people who don’t eat meat. I usually walk out of this place disappointed- or worse.
