Intimate Italian spot in Venice. Came here for my friend’s birthday dinner and we had a prefixe menu, with shared apps and desserts, and chosen entrees. The burrata and the salad were both good, but my favorite was the tuna tartare. I had the branzino for my entree; it’s good if you have a lighter appetite. I preferred the bolognese that had al dente pasta with a hearty sauce. The rigatoni was the vegetarian friendly option and was solid. For dessert, I liked the opera cakes which came with two small pieces. This spot is good for date nights and I suggest opting to sit outside. Street parking available. There is one restroom inside on the ground floor and another upstairs.

From the moment you walk in, you know you’re in for an experience. The restaurant is located in an old house, which gives it a unique atmosphere. Our server immediately intrigued us with the night's specials and gave us a great tour of the menu.
We started with the scallops with fresh truffle, followed by two pastas for our mains. The filet mignon ravioli was great, but the beet pasta with quail ragu was fantastic (I honestly wonder how many birds go into one portion! lol). We finished with the panna cotta and chocolate cake, which were just okay. The wine selection was limited but unique—I highly recommend the Kerner.

Delicious if limited menu. Service and atmosphere outstanding. Highly recommend for a special dinner, or just one where you want to enjoy your companions and have great conversation.

The food, wine, service and overall hospitality exceeded all my expectations...a diamond in the rough!!! I HIGHLY recommend Barrique Venice!

The food was very good with an unusual menu. It had been a couple of years since we had been. I had the endive salad and the beet pasta. Amazing. They were 'out of' the special which was odd since was early on a Saturday evening. That said they more than made up for the faux passport with comped desert...which was again amazing. It was a creme desert with caramel. I highly recommend and we will return

Great restaurant, excellent service and food. Romantic but good for business dinner as well.

The upstairs room is beautiful and romantic, our service was lovely, and the beet pasta dish is always fantastic. A gem in Venice.

Just a fantastic dinner. The pasta with the black truffle cream sauce was heavenly. Everything about the night was just really phenomenal.

I ordered the "pasta special." It was a simple dish of fettuccini with butter and a few truffles, for...$70! (including tax and tip) A total rip-off that took away from the rest of the experience, which is always good there. The service is excellent.

Friendly, efficient service. Cozy, intimate space (inside upstairs), Great Wine list, especially for Italian reds, and delish food.

Stand out dishes were the carpaccio and rabbit wagu and the pana cotta. The staff sang happy birthday which was very nice. The ambiance is lovely. Unfortunately the ravioli was disappointing and it was extremely warm inside that evening which was uncomfortable.

The food and service were both wonderful however, we were seated on the second floor which was esthetically pleasing but it had to have been over 90 degrees up there. No fans or air conditioning. One of our guests had to leave before he could finish eating due to the heat. We chose to cut dinner short as a result which at those prices was a shame and quite frankly I was embarrassed as I hosted the dinner and my guests were so uncomfortable. Very unfortunate as it overshadowed our experience.
