Every time I visit LA I am stopping by Barrique. Always top quality, top service and nice atmosphère.
I ordered the "pasta special." It was a simple dish of fettuccini with butter and a few truffles, for...$70! (including tax and tip) A total rip-off that took away from the rest of the experience, which is always good there. The service is excellent.
Friendly, efficient service. Cozy, intimate space (inside upstairs), Great Wine list, especially for Italian reds, and delish food.
Stand out dishes were the carpaccio and rabbit wagu and the pana cotta. The staff sang happy birthday which was very nice. The ambiance is lovely. Unfortunately the ravioli was disappointing and it was extremely warm inside that evening which was uncomfortable.
The food and service were both wonderful however, we were seated on the second floor which was esthetically pleasing but it had to have been over 90 degrees up there. No fans or air conditioning. One of our guests had to leave before he could finish eating due to the heat. We chose to cut dinner short as a result which at those prices was a shame and quite frankly I was embarrassed as I hosted the dinner and my guests were so uncomfortable. Very unfortunate as it overshadowed our experience.
Excellent meal. Dishes were creative and tasty. Very attentive service. We enjoyed sitting out in the covered patio.
Absolutely incredible meal you must try the pasta with the quail! I would absolutely come back here me and my husband had an amazing experience.
Been here a bunch of times. Cute spot. The food is just ok. And the waiter is so strange. For the price I'd rather go to scopa or another Abbott Kinney spot.
The Capesante alla Griglia con Fonduta and they are star pasta was one of the best dishes I've had in a long time — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Everyone was so sweet and attentive, we felt truly welcomed. Can't wait to come back
Great overall dining experience from beginning to end. Michael was responsive to our questions and made excellent recommendations. We had dinner with our friends from Delaware and they were very impressed with everything. I commend the whole staff for their teamwork, professionalism, and above and beyond service.

Barrique is one of our top Five restaurants that we enjoy enough to keep returning to have new and delicious experiences. Every time we have had such fabulous food and wine!
This place came as a surprise. It's in a small house and you can walk right by it. Food is AWESOME. Staff likewise. My wife yakked away in Italian with everyone. They don't push you out. Gonna go back
Such a charming Italian spot tucked into a cozy yellow house that feels like a hidden gem in Venice. The famous beet pasta with quail ragu was absolutely phenomenal — rich, earthy, and totally unique. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted, and the ambiance was intimate without being fussy. Service was warm, attentive, and added to the overall experience. A perfect spot for a romantic dinner or special night out.
Friendly family-owned Italian restaurant. Charming house conversion. Always specials that are interesting. Hustling wait staff.
This is a hidden gem! We love Barrique and have been going here for about 8 years. Miguel is always welcoming and takes excellent care of us. Ruben is great at assisting in making our evening complete. They are both so charming and kind. The food is delicious! We love the Scallops with shaved truffles, Tagliolini Rossi with quail ragu, Tagliatelle with rabbit ragu, Duck, and the dinner specials. Tonight, we enjoyed the Duck Carpaccio and Rack of Lamb. The wines by the glass pair perfectly with the food. Sometimes, they have some off menu options as well. For dessert, we love all of them... Bravo!!!
