We've frequented Cha Cha Matcha's other locations, but this was a disappointment. The tea was still decent, but the atmosphere was inviting. The sitting area was not clean. When we pointed the fact to employees, they just shrugged. Even worse, the employees played very loud music over the store's sound system, eliminating why chance of conversation. We didn't feel welcome or appreciated.Vegetarian options: The tea can be vegan or vegetarian, however the place serves meat

Personally, I'm not big on sweet drinks, and this matcha fits my vibe perfectly.Whenever I swing by a boba joint, I always opt for matcha, and this one finally hits the mark for me. It's a refreshing change to find a matcha that doesn't need extra sweetness or milk to make it great. The flavor is bold and stands out in the best way possible. This matcha is exactly what I've been looking for—it's got that distinct taste I really dig.This matcha has become my go-to whenever I'm here. I love that it's not overly sweet, letting the natural flavors of the matcha shine. If you're into matcha that's rich and doesn't need the added sweetness, you should totally give this one a shot.

This place is so cute! So pink and so aesthetic. We went on a Monday morning, so not too many people. You order your drink, and you get to choose the milk and the type of sweetener. The drink was good, but definitely not my favorite matcha. Being in LA, you can definitely get better matcha. The location was great though, and a quick walk to the beach! If I had to choose if I was coming back, I don't know if I would. It felt not super matcha-y to me but maybe that's just my personal preference.

this shop only specializes in matchas, it even says that they use the highest grade ceremonial Matcha. Right when she gave me my drink, I already knew I was gonna be disappointed because it looked like such a light color, green. Like c'mon, if you're only gonna serve one thing, and put that it's from Uji, Japan, own up to it All you can taste was the oatmilk, which shows you how little Matcha they put. It was barely sweetened which is good.This place does not have a good matcha, I do not recommend.

Even though I’ve had my fair share of matcha based drinks - the very friendly barista at Ch Cha Matcha in Venice let me know it’s important that your matcha be sourced from Japan and that the plant be picked when it is at a certain color. Cool right? So what has made this place my new go-to? The Matcha Chai Latte. I know it might seem weird, but said barista said “it just works” and I chose to believe her. It’s so damn good. This is a great little store that might be easy to over look on Abbot Kinney - but the combination of high quality drinks (and delicious) along with some refreshingly great customer service make this place shine. Give it a go.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs - soft short ramp right off the sidewalk into the cafe.
Service was ok, one girl pretty much ignored us, she continued on with her cleaning and once she was done, didn't even wash her hands. Kind of gross to be honest. The matcha drinks itself weren't the greatest. Aesthetic? Yes. Would I come back? Prob not.

After swimming in Santa Monica, we decided to go for a matcha run. I loved the area it was in with all the cool shops and it's close to the beach. The shop itself is so cute and so LA! First and foremost, I love the interior, all the cha cha matcha merch and that the menu is strictly matcha focused which I loved. Even their pink napkins are so catchy! I got the draft matcha which was better than their original matcha latte. The draft matcha is infused with nitro, vanilla, with coconut and oat milk. It was super smooth tasting. My daughter got the iced matcha chai which she liked. And my husband got an iced vanilla matcha latte. Mine was sweeter than his and he liked mine more. If you're new to matcha, you will love this place!
