06/30/2025..tried the chicken avo quesadilla...this was a waste of time..there was more shell than chicken and chicken was cut up in chunks...shame on Pollo loco

The so called manager is rude not helpful at all.. the best manager they ever had was rest in peace was maria ..: el pollo downgraded to him his customer service is horrible and he’s a lair as well. I went into there establishment Sunday after my brother got out the hospital why because it one of the health fast food places .. I went on there el pollo loco app there was a special offer You buy 30 you get 10 dollars off so I was like let’s do it but we were buying way over 30 are totally was 50 . We kept trying on line first with my card and said address didn’t match I did it 4 times and then my husband said try his so we did 4 times and nothing so we tried my brothers over 5 times so I decided to go in. Why not sinces it’s there app and it’s not working and I can prove it maybe they can honor the online coupon so I went it the first thing I see is Sandra smiling faces yes she had a mask on but you can tell she’s always nice she always greets and very professional maybe she should be the manager that would be a total upgrade and step up … going right along I explained to her what was going on with the online app she even tried to help I ask could you guys honor it she said let me ask my boss .he came over what he said was I don’t know what to tell you call el pollo loco but you are pollo loco and then he claims he had someone to do a order online and it worked but I explained that Sandra and tried it didn’t work he said I don’t know so I ask is it possible for or can you honor the coupon he said no and walked away then he came back said he can’t do it at all I know for a fact you can but he didn’t want to .. Sandra gave me a coupon for 2 dollars that worked wasn’t the taco I wanted but I took it .. Rafael it’s called making it right if your online not working be a stand up guy and say hey I can do this to make it right … then he started talking Spanish couldn’t hear what they were saying but it’s cool… if it wasn’t for customers Rafael you would have that position you have if it wasn’t for us eating there you would be out of a job. I have worked customer service for over 35 years from retail to restaurant I always want to make sure my customer come back specifically if it’s a regular… maybe retraining him and I called already but I will write a letter to corporate if that’s how you treat your customers think he was right I’m disappointed in el pollo loco
