For Venice this was 5* for me. Attentive staff, good cocktail/wine list, and most marvelous sausage/rabe orecchiette pasta. Loved the meatballs, okay pizza (mostly because all LA pizzas taste the same, soggy in the middle, yeasty fluffy crust and whatever else on the middle), but the pasta...it was a little chewy, a little doughy (all in the best way possible), perfectly saucy, spiced to perfection. The Nebbiolo they source washes down splendidly after all the protein/carb intake....
This place is great! Took my lady here for a birthday dinner and was very impressed with the quality and authenticity of the food! The drinks were amazing too. The atmosphere was great as well. By far one of the best restaurants in Los Angeles! It is quite pricey but for special occasions I would definitely come back!
Incredible meal and staff! I wish I took some photos but the food was so good I couldn't be bothered to pick up my phone. Staff was great and was thoroughly impressed by each dish. Special shoutout to one of the chefs Marc who took special care of us and gave great recommendations. Will definitely be back!
