My wife and I were staying in a hotel nearby. We asked how long of a wait for a table hostesses says 10 mins, then as we are waiting to just off the side of her hostess stand she points to another couple who came behind us and says party of two. When she comes back she then asks if we were a party of 2. We decided not to eat there, hostess white, other couple white, we are not white. It was so blatantly obvious. I'm sorry to the hostess that she wasn't taught you should treat all others fairly. If it was a mistake she could have owned but it clearly was just a slight. Do better, I thought California was supposed to be cool.

This is such a cute place to stop and grab a bite and do some people-watching. The decor inside is very nice, but I prefer to grab a table outside. The snacks are good and there's always fresh oysters.

Ambiance and drinks were amazing! And couldn't beat the view of the sunset! Ordered the sea bass... wasn't a fan, but everything else was wonderful!

Nice location on Venice beach with beachy ambiance. Got the steak and eggs and the plantain and coconut pancakes. The pancakes were great and we got enough to be able to split it and still feel full. The steak portion in the steak and eggs was very measly and it came over cooked but the eggs and potato's that came with it were excellent

Great food and awesome for people watching! The service is amazing even when it's busy. We've been there a few times and they always remember us. Will be back soon...

This went from a wonderful restaurant to a terrible restaurant in just about a month. I'm guessing new manager. This is the stupidest part: they changed the wait list to no list. They won't take anybody's names. You just have to stand there and wait for a 45 minutes or an hour or whatever. Plus they redirected the line so it now goes straight into the Venice beach boardwalk. @CoastalCommission?? Moronic decisions ruin a good breakfast/lunch spot. Fortunately, there are so many other places we can eat in Venice. Go there instead.

We sat outside since you're RIGHT on the boardwalk from the patio. Here we could hear a street performer sing and people watch as we ate...which we loved! Our server was the sweetest and incredibly attentive. He made a GREAT espresso martini once we were done with mimosas. Our food came quickly and correctly and tasted delicious. Would definitely recommend for a quick-ish breakfast stop.

Great location. Food is good but stops short of being great. Service is friendly however I was misinformed that they auto add a 20% gratuity to the bill (even after I asked) so I ended up double tipping. This is why the service gets three stars. Asked a simple question and was assured it was not added (without providing a printed bill) so after the payment was completed I discovered I had tipped twice when they printed the receipt. No bueno.

Came here for Easter dinner. The food and drinks were good. I got the beach burger. It was absolutely delicious. Most of our table got the Seabass Fish entree. The presentation was amazing, but everyone in the group found it too bony having to dig to get the meat. Their cocktails were delicious. We sat inside and were temporarily blinded by the sun, but overall it was a fantastic experience. Service was great and we got seated pretty quickly with a reservation.

Good location but it the service was very disappointing. Took a family member visiting from out of the country for their bday and I regret it.

We were walking on the boardwalk and literally just found this place. Looked like an old shack from the outside with some crazy heavy sliding door. Once we walked in we were transported to a beautiful restaurant! The cocktail menu was so alluring as everything was something we’ve never had. If you’re into a sweet cocktails definitely get the rhapsody in red - I couldn’t even taste the alcohol. We got an app to share. The calamari was incredible but the smelt was super fishy. That’s not the restaurants fault tho. After sipping our drinks we decided on a second round and the cookie. The best restaurant a la mode I’ve had is with this delicious cookie. The nut favor really came through. Our server was so pleasant and had a lot of personality. The bathrooms were also clean and interesting. If we weren’t just visiting this would be a frequent spot for sure.

Went there for an early happy hour drafts and nachos. Place is right on the boardwalk, good service, IPA as draft beer, what else to ask. Would go there again.

The beach burger was good but the price was perhaps a little exaggerated. Probably due to the location in Venice beach.
