This place felt odd for a *beach bar. Maybe it's just the difference between coastal community cultures, Florida vs Cali? I was disappointed that while it is just a short walk, you couldn't really see the beach from the bar. I'm used to walking straight from the beach into the bar, sandy flip flops and all. This is very much a local dive, didn't feel touristy in the least. Ordered a couple Topa IPAs and eventually a cheeseburger. They were slinging so many I just had to get one myself. Not sure what made them 'world famous', looked and tasted like standard food service patties. But they're cheap and decent so no complaints. The oddly iridescent peppers on the side gave me a bit of pause. And no fryer so chips, and I mean Lays, not UK chips. It sounded like the bar staff and some of the customers were from the UK. They have free popcorn, plus pool tables and some outdoor seating, but I'd stick with the inside. You're basically in the street if you sit outside, and weather and views didn't warrant that excursion.

Busy bar! The staff there are friendly, busy and fast. Our food came in less than ten minutes after we ordered world famous cheeseburgers. They were delicious and came with very fresh pepperoncinies and a bag of chips. Medium amount of drink options but better than average. There is a pool table and several TVs around the bar inside. There is also ample patio room and is private with a bamboo fence (private but not good for people watching). One small downside was that the bathrooms were tiny. If we return to this area again we will be eating here for sure !Parking: Better to park some where else and stop on the way to the boardwalk

This is my hands down favorite beach bar in the area. Love this place! Legendary burgers! Oh, they have killer chicken and beef tacos, too. Great live music Thursday thru Sunday only until 9:30pm. Cool people watching and mixing. The crowd blends young and old. Hippies and skaters to banker types on holiday. Sawdust on the floor, good vibes, former Jim Morrison hang, beer and wine only. Cool bartenders such as Amanda, Rudy, Hannah, Miguel and Kate keep the joint humming and friendly.Despite what their website says they do take credit cards which only happened (incredibly!) Early to mid last year. If you prefer to spend cash they do have an ATM inside.Parking: If the area is busy and you don't like paying for parking, it can be a challenge to find free parking nearby. Just be open to walking a little bit.

One of the best burgers in LA with the right price and ambiance. Hinano is one of those places you don't even want to write a review about for fear that it will get too crowded and change. But I think it's safe at this point and I want them to stay open forever. I'm still a huge fan of them not asking what kind of chips you want. They just hand you a random bag, or subconsciously assign you the bag of chips that looks like you. I can't tell which.

all is right in the world when you’re sitting at the bar with your friends, playing pool listening to some music and you have a beer a burger and some laughs. This is one of my favorite things to do during the week or especially on the weekends. The vibes are typically right although there are some days where the crowd can get a little rowdy but we’re by the beach what do you expect? Also topic of cleanliness— not the best but it’s tiny, you kinda can tell before going but still awesome.I would recommend to go there you want to conclude your night maybe play some pool and grab a drink while traffic is dying down there’s usually some entertainment outside at the same time.i’m not sure if you got the purpose of this post but it is to get a burger so make sure to get the burger. The chili is good too but just do yourself a favor and get yourself a burger. Don’t expect any fries you get some chips, a pickle and some peppers but get yourself a burger. enjoy!Vegetarian options: they do have a some vegetarian options however be mindful of the shared grill space if you’re particular on that. it is all cooked on the same thing.Parking: it’s venice which says a lot lol— but the streets surrounding usually have some parking for you if you don’t want to pay or there is a lot by the beach

My first stop when i visit LA. The burgers, pool tables, frosty beer pitchers, sports on tv, free popcorn, live music…just a fantastic place with a great local vibe. No wonder Jim Morrison loved it.
