I had ordered from them many times and enjoy their food. I ordered from them tonight and they never delivered my food and charged my card $55. When I called the employee told me that he can't refund me or deliver the food because the driver went home. They also told me that my residence is really hard to access so they don't want me to order from them anymore. So I won't.

We’ve ordered from this place a few times now and the customer service and the pizza have always been great!

I just brought home a pepperoni pizza, chicken parmigiana sandwich, linguine and an Italian mixed salad for my family. I hadn’t ordered from this spot in awhile and remember the chicken parm sandwich being very solid. Well it was anything but as it felt rubbery w cheap cheese. The linguine pasta is absolutely inedible w a terrible taste, the salad is barely eatable w a dull dressing flavor. Even the pizza was weak and inferior, on par w the likes of Pizza Hut. This place has gone completely south and I feel like I just threw my money away. Stay clear of this Johnnies.

Terrible chicken Parmigiano. Asked to substitute rigatoni for angel hair. Woman said no substitutes. Sorry excuse for an Italian eatery. Should close its doors. STAY AWAY.

I'm not sure what people in LA think that NYC pizza tastes like, but this isn't it. I stopped in to order a "ready made" plain cheese slice, which wasn't immediately visible on the counter. The person manning the register took my order and ~5 minutes later, my slice emerged from the back of the store. The pizza was extremely greasy, with far too much cheese and just a hint of tart, acidic-tasting sauce. The crust was also nothing special - flavorless white flour. Overall, the slice was extremely rubbery, similar to day old pizza that was refrigerated and then reheated. For any of my fellow NYC metro area transplants who continue to search for an acceptable NYC-style pizzeria: keep searching. These aren't the slices that you're looking for.

Johnnies is my go-to. Only reason for a 4 and not 5 is their delivery. They cant seem to figure out that I'm in Venice, literally 3 blocks away, NOT in Santa Monica. Have to pick up so my pizza isnt late and cold.

Revolting. This was legit the worst spaghetti bolognese I’ve ever eaten in my life. Doesn’t resemble it even a little. Couldn’t eat more than one bite. Unreal.

I have been ordering their pizza for over ten years. It is tasty traditional pizza. Pepperoni and black olive or Hawaiian are my go to's. The drivers are always friendly.

Eh, $30 for a pizza that had so much cheese grease I could mop it up. The pizza is worth $10 but the real estate is $20 a pizza. CA is apparently so expensive that frozen pizza is a better option. You expect fast food to be low in nutrients but it helps to taste good. Staff is friendly but what staff isn't these days, most are just paying the bills and probably have 3 jobs so to leave a bad review hurts them. Sorry for that part but it's true, mediocrity has a downside especially when people pay mid grade prices to receive OK food. I get it , starving kids in Africa, but I doubt they would pay $30 if they had it on this pizza. I should have bought a steak dinner.

People are very nice. We ordered 2 pizzas for more than 50$. We avoided the chicken pieces on the pizza because the tasted horrible and of low quality. Barbecue sauce tasted off-sour-. Margarita pizza had huge slices of tomato that really missed up the whole pizza. Overall was very bad.

I have ordered pizzas from them several times they usually have good service there's been three times in the last month that they've delivered an incorrect pizza. When I called them they refused and they argue with me about what I said on the phone that I ordered. My mother just had a fall she's 92 years old and on blood thinners and what I ordered tonight was her dinner. When I open the box I noticed sausage with pepperoni when I ordered sausage with mushrooms this is happened more than once. I've never argued about it I just bit the bullet every time but this time I called in the guy put me on hold he never came back. Then I kept calling over and over again and they kept saying their mailbox was full so I did what a good Venice girl would do and got in my car flew over to Johnnies pizza put the pizza down on the counter and said I want the right pizza What you did was very chicken S**** I will never come here again I've been coming here all the Johnny's Pizza's for over 25 years and this incident did it for me because all the other times the pizza's were incorrect or not what I ordered, I Called in and told them it was wrong and They said oh I'm sorry! I said it's OK. And I kept the pizza that I did not order and ate it it didn't know you still gave them a tip didn't hassle them at all but this time when I call called Johnny's I got put on hold and never came back. Mind you it's only 9 PM they close at 10 I called over and over again and kept getting a recording saying the mailbox is full now is that chickenshit or what? and it Might not be a big deal for anyone but this with my 92 year old injuredmothers dinner as I mentioned above. It may not seem like a big deal to anyone but it is for my 92 year old mother. Peace out Venice folks! Lizzy
