Very disappointed, this place is dirty. The eating area is not well kept. The tables and seats are dirty but not as dirty as the kitchen. There are BIG roaches and a lot of homeless hang out in the eating area. Also no hot water? How are you guys cleaning your dishes you use to cook our food? Just disgusting, don't eat here guys.

As described it's a hole in the wall with a great Caribbean vibe and unique menu. This review is for the goat curry - having had all kinds of goat curry from different regions and in my home my whole life, I feel like a bit of a connoisseur. This is a 10 out of 10, the flavors are amazing and rich. The portion is great, the quality of the goat meat is excellent. Sadly I'm writing this as they no longer serve what I believe to be their signature dish and what was the best goat curry I've had in LA is no more. I can't be the only one wishing they bring it back to their menu.

Vegan j*** chicken?! The best. Always hits the spot while skating in Venice! I usually get the plate and swap my plantains out for sautéed cabbage and it's soooooo fire! If you haven't been, I highly suggest you give them a try. Also, everyone I've ever interacted with that works there is always so friendly and helpful! Whenever I go to Venice Beach I take my friends here and they're never disappointed.

This place makes delicious food, vegan friendly. J*** chicken plate is made with I think homemade seitan (wheat gluten) + curried chickpea + cooked cabbage + plantains. What I love is the food comes out hot, and flavorful. The patio isn't desirable, rather take to-go across the street to the patio in front of Townhouse and get drinks. Vegan loaded fries & nachos are a savory decadent treat They allow you to BYO so the first time I mixed their MANGO SMOOTHIE with mezcal here with live steel drums playing and it lead to a good time. Utensils are plastic + plastic wrapped I wish they served compostable bamboo instead. Portions are large so come with the munchies.

Wow! ? One thing about this restaurant is, when you order a burrito or a burger or even the vegan fries, the platters are large AF, and just as delicious! No joking, the vegan burrito that I ordered is the size of a small child! I’ve also tried their oxtails, curry goat, and Curry chickpeas, which I think they call “Chana “ and all of them are a delight to the palette. You can’t go wrong here.

Ordered their Surf and Turf nachos and wow I am impressed. It is a very large portion with a good amount of shrimp, steak, guac and the rest of the fillings. More than enough for one person. Their chips are unique and fresh, better than ordinary tortilla chips I also got a shrimp and crab taco snd ohhh was it so good. The size of the taco was well worth the price. I will be back (ordered this at 12am and food Was on point.

We came here and got coconut shrip and the j*** chicken sandwich.Super amazing food and felt very homemade and authentic. The girls who took our orders were so sweet. It was so good we came back the next morning for french toast, breakfast burritos, and smoothies. Again super good. Can’t believe its not busier. Highly recommend

Such a lucky stop. We were looking for a quick bite to eat and drink. We stopped for smoothies and also got the surf and turf nachos and the black and Bleu burger. So worth it. Stop by if you get the chance. We just got off a weeklong cruise and it was the best food we had all week.

I ordered the curry goat and Trini doubles. The curry goat platter was nuff nuff food! The plate was enough for me to eat from twice! The price was lower than I expected, also. The flavor was delectable and there’s just enough spice. 10/10 highly recommend. My husband is Jamaican, so I know my curry! The doubles were amazing, fluffy fresh bread with chickpeas and mango chutney. Super friendly clerk and Reddit nice atmosphere! I don’t think I’ll eat anywhere else while I’m here!!

Heck yeah! Extremely tasty vegan fare? Sign me up! easy; I had the vegan chicken Philly (basically a tofu cheesesteak) and it was... I have to use the phrase "hella good", among the best vegan cheesesteaks I've ever had. It smelled so good that I didn't take a photo of it before I started eating. The fries were also top tier, crispy and flavorful, not overly salty or greasy. I would be super happy to eat that again.Drinks: 3/5; I got a vegan peach smoothie, which was made with almond milk. It tastes a little bit of peach but not really - it's mostly just watery and kind of icy, not creamy as I would've expected from a smoothie. I'm not sure if the ice to almond milk ratio is off or what. It was refreshing and still tasted fine but it really didn't keep up with the amazing food.Ambience: 5/5! You're out on the street in Venice! If you want to eat in the middle of Venice and experience LA street life while you're a hundred meters from the beach, this is the place to do it. The only downside is that it's by a pretty busy road so there are cars going by which can be loud sometimes.Price: 4/5; the vegan Philly and fries was $13 (cheap for the area, especially given the quality!) but the smoothie was $11 (expensive compared to other smoothie places nearby).Overall: would definitely go here again, would probably just get a soda instead of a smoothie; there are a LOT of appealing vegan items on the menu!

I lost my ID outside of this place after eating, they found it, found my number, and sent it back to me in Florida. They wouldnt even let me pay for it. So very kind and Im so thankful for them.
