Why is it temporarily closed? Will it reopen? When? Does anyone know?

I had issues with the happy cow app trying to update the opening hours if someone else could do it?
It's currently closed and after checking their website it closes seasonally. It says it reopens in spring but it's currently spring???
Google maps also has it as temporarily closed. So upset I was ready to demolish the equivalent of a quarter pounder!

Instagram said they would be reopening march 1st. I brought my vegan friend to find out the date had not only been changed but no opening date other than "spring". The boardwalk was popping today. They are missing out on business.

If you want a vegan alternative to McDonald's this is it. I love the taste, even prefer it over gourmet and healthier burgers.

Ok food but not that special. The former WinDow burgers were much much better. Service also hit or miss. I don't think they will survive long in this location, food just isnt special enough. There are half a dozen places with good as good on the boardwalk within a few hundred feet

Service and music was great. I gave the food 4 stars, because it's supposed to be a play on McDonald's but I don't eat McDonald's so can't compare the two.I had the vegan chicken sandwich which I thought was dry, could have done with condiments like vegan mayo or mustard. Loved their choices of natural sodas. I had pear and elderberry...yummy!Fries were hot and good, nuggets were ok, I guess. Had the McFrowny's meal, which cane with burger, fries, nuggets and a drink.Vegetarian options: Menu is all vegan. Cheese isn't made from cashews if you have a nut allergyParking: It's Venice Beach!

This vegan/plant based burger spot is amazing. Even meat eaters will enjoy this food. They have a full breakfast menu that they serve until 420 :) Burgers were super flavorful and tasted like fast food while not making your stomach hurt. The guys working there were super friendly and it took less than 10 min for 3 burgers. Longer than McDonalds, yes, but you wait for fresh burgers to be cooked in front of you so to me that's worth it and better than a soggy McDonalds any day.

Have been waiting to try Mr. Charlie's for a while and it did not disappoint! The burger was amazing and tasted so good! The cashier and cook were extremely nice and gave us two extra cheeseburgers for my brothers birthday. This place has a great vibe and even better food!

It's amazing that there's a restaurant that tries to replace McDonalds for vegans. The prices are on point too, really cheap for vegan standards.
Having been brought up vegetarian, I've never been to McDonald's before, and this sure was an awakening. The food was in our hands incredibly fast, but it was terribly bland, no sauces or veggies. Everything was dripping with oil and overladen with salt. We had to douse everything in ketchup to even remotely taste anything but salt on the food.
I really wonder why McDonald's is an international chain if this is what their food tastes like.
