Great food and great staff

Naomi Charlotte Marquardt

I have been to Ospi on multiple occasions now and it’s always been a consistent and solid choice when it comes to not only their food but their service. I felt like it’s about time to share my feedback and praise. I’ve had every item on the menu that are vegetarian and pescatarian, and they’re all good. I love the kale salad, the eggplant, the simply executed but delicious spaghetti & margherita pizza, the tagliolini lobster, the crab cake and their Cannolis. They make a solid Cacio e Pepe too. I’m kicking myself for not hearing the name of my service this last visit. I meant to ask her again but it was busy and we had to head out. She was the most senior staff member there and remembered our entire order (for a party of 5) without writing down. She knew the menu extremely well and can steer her customers in the right direction. Anyhow, if you’re in Venice and want a fun atmosphere, great food and a memorable dining experience, visit Ospi!

Food is truly delish, but, unfortunately, we can only eat outside. The restaurant odor (indoors) was discussed at length by friends/neighbors, and we can't unsmell it. Shockingly, it hasn't improved in the year we've been going to Ospi, so it's gotta be the plumbing/building/systems, not a one time mess. They desperately need to cover the poopy diaper smell. May I suggest a plug in fragrance, candles, glade spray, and fabreeze?!? The stank is not okay

Great food and service, but don't go hear if you need a quiet dining experience. The tables are also very close to each other. That said, if you like high energy, happening places with great food and service, then you'll love it. Cocktails were excellent, and the wine list was smart and reasonable.

Gluten free spaghetti noodles with vodka sauce was amazing.

Everything about Ospi was great. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. The cocktails were delicious and the food was next level. I’ll absolutely go back. Icing on the cake, the name on the reservation is hand written and places on the table.

I was here eating with my Wife. First it looked good because of the tables. The Prices are quite high like 33 Dollar for Linguine, but the Portion size is super small, after we told the waitress, she laughed loud and said „Well, thats california!“.

After that we even felt more sad..

Restaurants don't have the same quality they used to have. They just don't care about presentation anymore. I was excited to come here cause I've never been and tried the raschiatelli. But then you get served scattered pork, random sauce in the middle, with freakn bunch of bread crumbs everywhere and serve it. I didn't complain cause Ospi has good reputation and taste is bomb! It is very authentic Italian and the flavor was good but seriously bread crumbs and pasta don't go together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Seriously only a sprinkle for garnish and even that's a maybe). What use is it to go eat out if that's the kind of food you get served with?

P.S. I would always get rid of bread crumbs when I get them from pasta meal kits or use them for fried chickuhn. Either way not with pasta!

Had an incredible experience. Rikki from Australia was our server and she was incredible. I have tons of dietary restrictions and she was patient and knowledgeable about handling them. The food was so good we ordered another plate of the spicy rigatoni because we couldn’t get enough. Rikki was super kind and had a great energy that made it more enjoyable to dine here.

Dietary restrictions: Amazing experience handling my allergies (seafood, tree nut, sesame seed allergy)

Don’t expect to find authentic Italian food. The cacio e pepe looked and tasted as if it were served with béchamel sauce. The spicy pork pasta is good, but everything is over-flavored; it’s hard to taste the ingredients when they overuse seasoning. It’s more like an Italian (and trendier) Cheesecake Factory. The kale salad was good, and the service is good as well. I prefer Gjelina for the same price and more elegant flavors.

Ospi Venice was an incredible dining experience for my family and me! From start to finish, everything was absolutely delicious. We started with the garlic bread, meatballs, and crispy provolone cheese—each dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared. For my entrée, I had the spicy rigatoni, which was hands down my favorite part of the meal. The sauce was rich and delicious, and the texture of the pasta was just amazing—some of the best I’ve ever had. To finish, I had the cannolis for dessert, which were the perfect sweet ending to a wonderful dinner. The restaurant itself feels upscale yet laid-back, likely due to its proximity to the water. It had such a great mix of people, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a fantastic dinner out, I highly recommend Ospi Venice. This spot is a true gem!

Very American style Italian. If looking heavy Italian food this is your spot. Don’t understand the hype.
