My brother and I went here last weekend and ordered the chicharron sandwich… we both agreed, that has to be one of the best sandwiches we’ve ever had . Absolutely delicious with so many flavors coming through. The staff and the owner were also very warm and welcoming. If you’re walking the boardwalk it’s a must.

Highly recommend you stop by and have the ceviche bowl and chat with Rafael. He’s knowledgeable and generous with his time as he explains the rich culture of ceviche and handcrafts your bowl to perfection. The cinnamon sweet potato was such a good addition to the bowl!

Had an amazing experience at Peruvian Bowls!
From the moment we walked in, Rafael was incredibly lively, kind, and vibrant — you can truly feel the passion and love behind the food and the atmosphere. That energy alone makes you want to stay.
I had the ceviche leche de tigre, and it was absolutely unreal. The flavors were bold, fresh, and perfectly balanced. You can really taste the authenticity in the Peruvian ingredients — everything felt traditional, high quality, and made with care.
This place is a must-go if you’re in Venice Beach, and definitely a must-return for me. Can’t wait to come back!
Thank you Rafael!

Stumbled into Peruvian Bowl in Venice and left genuinely impressed. I ordered the Lomo Bowl and it was outstanding — perfectly seasoned, tender meat with that classic Peruvian flavor profile that hits both comfort and freshness at the same time. You can tell it’s made with care, not just assembled.
What really made the experience special was talking with Justin, the owner. He shared about his Peruvian heritage and the pride behind the recipes. That authenticity shows up in the food. It’s not just “poke style” — it’s a thoughtful fusion that feels rooted in something real.
The space is clean, warm, and welcoming, with a laid-back Venice vibe. Sitting there at sunset, steps from the beach, eating a Lomo Bowl while talking culture and community — it just felt right.
If you’re in Venice and want something fresh, flavorful, and made by someone who truly cares, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be back.

This spot is such a great find. It is tucked inside Gingerbread Court and feels like one of those places you are really glad you discovered. The food was incredible and tasted super fresh. Everything had a lot of flavor without being heavy, and you can tell the ingredients are high quality.
What really stood out though was the chef and owner. He had such great energy and made the whole experience better. You can tell he really cares about the food and about people enjoying it. That kind of vibe makes a big difference and it made the place feel special.
If you are in Venice and want something different from the usual food around the beach, definitely check this place out. I will absolutely be coming back.

Ordered the Lomo bowl & Ceviche bowl... the Lomo bowl had such great flavor, the combo of steak, fries, & rice with their sauce on top was pure perfection! I'm not usually into raw fish but the Ceviche was so fresh & tasty that I couldn't even tell it was fish that I was eating. It was my first time eating Peruvian food & it was absolutely amazing! Slightly hidden off of Venice beach walk,, if you find this place, its a def must try. Service was top tier as well!
