Dirty and dishonest. Saw a kitchen staff member come out of the bathroom and cut a bagel BEFORE putting new gloves on.

Nice staff, good coffee and food
I wrote most of an award-winning novel here. Family owned and operated, they have the best coffee in LA. And always A+ people watching.

Loved this place! The Thai Tuna Wrap was flavorful and fresh, and the coffee was spot on. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and just steps from the beach. Will definitely be back.
Amazing staff and great food! Finally some NICE people in LA... my experience wasn't great until I went to this cafe. The Acai Bowl was delicious and all the staff were so friendly. They even charged my phone and I was so appreciative because I wouldn't have been able to go back to the airport afterwards!

Great little spot, for people watching. However as a coffee snob that is on the lookout for a perfect flat white, you failed miserably. Rated as the my worst flat white ever, in the US. I had a double espresso with a little steamed milk. The drink was luke warm and very little evidence of coffee flavour on the palette.
My partner had a Complete Smoothy and she loved it.

Good option if you need a place to recharge. Not the most aesthetic/coffee was not great, but it's super close to the beach which is a plus. Just depends what you're looking for!
