One of the worst experiences, Don’t Go To This Bar. We waited over an hour in line, and when we finally reached the front, the bouncer (I believe his name is JJ) asked for my ID in a rude tone and manner. I showed it to him, and he scanned and approved it, then moved on to checking my friends’ IDs.
While reviewing my friends, his behavior escalated. He raised his voice at one of my friends and pointed his finger close to his face, accusing him of being disrespectful, despite us remaining calm and respectful.
JJ then returned to me and asked for my ID again, even though it had already been scanned, and closed the entrance and refused us entry without explanation.
To add to the experience, other friends who entered earlier also had a bad night, one had her phone stolen and another had her wallet stolen while inside. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional and disappointing, especially since we were celebrating a friend’s birthday.
There are too many great bars in the city to spend time and money where guests are treated like this. If this is how The Lincoln chooses to represent itself, people should reconsider going.

I am writing to express how upset and disappointed I am about my experience at The Lincoln last night. This was especially surprising, as The Lincoln is one of my favorite bars and a place I frequent at least twice a month.
The issue began with your bouncer, JJ, who was incredibly rude and disrespectful. We asked if we could enter after seeing him allow other friends of ours inside. He told us to get in line, which we did. Once we were finally next, he checked my friend’s ID, then turned around and started letting other people in. When he returned, he asked for our IDs again. My friend simply said, “I just showed it to you,” and JJ immediately became aggressive and told us, “Oh really? Get out you’re not getting in.”
There was absolutely no justification for this behavior. Whether he was having a bad day or not, his actions were unprofessional and unacceptable. I was there celebrating my sister’s birthday, with friends who had flown in from out of the country, and his conduct completely ruined the night. Some of our group were denied entry for no valid reason, and those who did get in had an even worse experience one friend had their phone stolen, and two others had their wallets stolen.
Given that JJ is part of your security team, this raises serious concerns about how efficiently and responsibly security is being handled. Between the arbitrary denial of entry and multiple thefts occurring inside, the entire situation felt unsafe and poorly managed.
I am extremely disappointed, especially as a loyal customer who has always spoken highly of The Lincoln. This experience has made me seriously reconsider returning, and I hope management takes this complaint seriously and addresses these issues promptly.

Love the atmosphere and the venue. The outdoor patio is very well put together. Great place for a drink although their cocktails didn’t really work for me. I ended up getting a passion fruit margarita off the menu after I tried 2 of their cocktails and it proved to be the right decision

Great bar with terrible music. The entire time I was there they played Arctic Monkeys but the atmosphere and lighting was more Barry White or some chill jazz. Very disconnected between the ambience and the music choice.

I’m not one to leave reviews but, I really enjoy this bar. Many of the staff members are friendly, funny and professional. The drinks are great and the bar is always trying to add new and interesting cocktails. There is a hot dog machine (mostly stocked on weekends), the amount of people’s faces I have seen light up when I point it out is 10/10. For those are looking for a nice place to hang I will always throw this place’s name out . Depending on the day of the week or holidays this place will have different size crowds. Be aware that Sats and Fridays are packed! I have experienced really great DJs here and meh ones. Regarding some of the stealing comments in other reviews. This is a relatively new issue it seems, I hope they are able to resolve this in some way. However, it seems like a hard issue to solve given the such packed nature of the weekends. So be safe people! Overall I have been going to this bar for quite some time and I have had some really great memories here. Hope this review helps people out.

We stopped by The Lincoln after exploring Venice Beach, and it was such a vibe. Great energy, super friendly staff, drinks were solid, and the music was on point all night. My friends and I had so much fun, definitely coming back.
