Amazing fish & chips. I don't think people truly understand the nature of British fish & chips... the chips or 'fries' aren't old or black, or weird, they are raw, hearty potatoes and VERY very good. The oil here is changed daily, unlike most American fried food spots. Also, yes, the fish is frozen... as its the best way to fast freeze and store it once caught. So without the nitpicking I've read here, which I believe are just lack of education,...
I heard this restaurant has a rich history of being landmark fastfood places on Venice. I was excited to try it out. The price of $17 after taxes for a regular combo was nice.
The owners are nice and the service was quick.
The food was bland. Ranch and tar tar barely kept it decent. The fish was from the freezer or something because extra water was dripping out of it. Unfortunately the food was very bland and I am not coming back

"Wee Chippy" is a humble name for the Best Fish and Chips Ever!!! Worked my tail off (still got the Backside ?) in the culinary field, so I can definitely appreciate the Friendly Service and Familiar ?. Been coming to this Food Park for Years; NOBODY HAS ? AS GOOD AS WEE CHIPPY!!! THICK "TEXAS FRIES", A VARIETY OF GOURMET SALTS... BEST EVER, TRY THE SMOKED APPLE WOOD, my FAV. SOMEDAY, I've got to try the SHRIMP ? TEMPURA, but the FRESHLY PREPARED BATTERED...
