Owner called us stinky asians. completely unacceptable and the place was beyond unsanitary with food greatly overpriced for what I can keep from Costco microwave meals.

The atmosphere is great, because it’s all outdoors. But their service is horrible. No one cleans the tables, actually no workers or waiters during day, only for dinner time. The bartender on Sunday was a female who had the worse attitude for a server, ignoring me while I was waiting, there was no one at the bar so she wasn’t busy, no cups for beers unless you ask. Even the bar area and the tables were gross, not even wiped down. It’s a shame, because as I explained it’s a very cute spot. They need nicer workers, and cleaner tables.

Had the Iowa Hanger steak rare and it was perfect. The fries were great. Cheese Burger was good. Our server was helpful and friendly. Service speed to was great considering they were packed. It was very loud but with a young crowd drinking that was to be expected.

Restaurant allowed a table nearby to have a private photographer snap over 100 pictures with full on bright flashing bulbs in the middle of a busy night while every table nearby cringed with each photo. Will not be back. Awful look for the front of house.

Our first visit to American Beauty in Venice was awesome, and we’re definitely coming back. We sat on the super cute outdoor patio, and the staff treated us like family. The menu was so tempting it was hard to choose. We finally went with the Wood Grilled Flatbread (amazing), Brentwood Corn (so flavorful), Stuffed Hash Brown (delish), Wood Grilled Lobster Tail (the ‘XO’ butter was fire), Heritage Baby Back Ribs (sweet and spicy, a nice twist on BBQ), Fried Whole Tai Snapper (so meaty), Grilled Lamb Chops (packed with flavor), Dry Aged Prime Ribeye (tender and tasty), and a Stone Fruit Pie with vanilla ice cream that was perfect for the three of us (just the right sweetness). Plus, I had a lovely French Cabernet. Totally recommend this spot if you want an awesome meal with lots of creative options.
Great food and ambience. We loved the starters yellowtail tataki and flatbread labinah. The 15 day ribeye was incredible as were the lamb chops. We also enjoyed the stuffed hash browns which we out of this world. The molten cake at the end was also terrific. One not is that the chairs are a bit uncomfortable. My partner is 6" 4" and he had to hunch over the entire night on tiny childrens size chairs. I would recommend management invest in normal padded chairs for adults to enjoy a meal for a few hours without feeling sore on the way out. That aside, we enjoyed the evening and can't wait to return!

I miss the old American Beauty burger. I like the atmosphere and the service was excellent. I know it's a steak place but a vegetarian option would be nice. I didn't love the heirloom salad. I wish it was a burrata heirloom salad.? If you are a steak lover you will like this place.

Even if you want to just pop in and have a light dinner, American Beauty hits the mark! I’m a huge fan of their vegetable selection (we didn’t even order a steak this time). Cocktails are always balanced and fun and the big outdoor patio is perfect for our little pup.
